It's only a matter of time before he cracks. Probably after the pandemic ends and everyone is doing something productive... Except for Jazz, who is still churning out TikTok vids.

I'm starting to think it might take a while for him to snap. Since his parents have money and are willing to accomodate him, Jazz might turn into a full neet while keeping depression at bay with food or prescriptions pills or buying shiny things. Once his parents become elderly or die he's going to implode, like all such neets do. I could be completely wrong, but the fact that they're wealthy seems to have kept Jazz relatively numb and complacent so far, compared to troons who are poor.

His reference to Orange is the new Black is the greatest proof that you need to control what your kids watch. The show, from what little I've seen, presents every male sexual desire as violent and traumatizing while every female sexual desire is pure and healing, and that the transwoman is a nuturing wise mentor figure central to a hypersexual lesbian group which function like a bonobo pack. This is in a women's prison, mind you. Even female felons are better than any man. They also reference her neovagina as better than a real vagina because it's man-made (much like the great Pacific trash island is so much more beautiful than Tahiti). I can easily see how a particularly stupid 12 year old would get warped ideas from it.

How old are Jeannette and Greg? Early 50's at the oldest, right? Jeannette's parents are one generation older and still in very good health, meaning it'll be another 25 years at the least until Jeannette becomes too old and infirm to maintain control over Jazz' life. The way Jazz is going, he's not going to make it another 20+ years.

Assuming more surgical interventions to try and fix downstairs from the butchers Jazz keeps going to, I actually think surgical complications might be more likely as a cause of death over suicide.

I wouldn't be surprised if he passed from an accidental overdose of pain meds. There's no way he's not on opiates to cope with the pain his experimental amhole surgery and subsequent revisions have left him with.

I really hope that by the time his parents die, in probably 30 years or so, all this trans shit will be over. If Jazz manages to stay alive that much, he's gonna become a disable man whose siblings will probably have to take care of.

Kind of weird how the books are arranged with their spines in, while the pill bottles are on full display. Knowing what he likes to read is too personal, but swallowing a pharmacy is no biggie.
