leading Norwegian conspiracy theorist who denied coronavirus was a dangerous disease has died from the virus after hosting two events at his property.

Hans Gaarder, 60, was found to have tested positive for COVID-19 after he died from the virus on April 6, just days after he hosted an illegal gathering in Gran municipality, around 40 miles north of the Norwegian capital Oslo.

Gran municipal chief physician Are Løken said the preliminary autopsy report confirmed his death was due to having the deadly virus.

Local newspaper Hadeland reported that at least 12 people had been infected with the virus after they attended the illegal gatherings.

Events were banned in the municipality from March 16 in a bid to drive down cases of the disease, which has killed 688 people in Norway since the pandemic began last year.

Police are now attempting to learn how many people attended the two events at Gaarder's barn on March 26 and 27.

In a statement on the Gran Municipality website, a spokesperson confirmed a man in his 60s had died.

It continued: "Gran municipality has become aware that two events were held, Friday 26 and Saturday 27 March, on the man's property. We do not know how many and who have participated in the event, but ask the participants to take a corona test as soon as possible."

A statement attributed to Løken on the website read: "This was a sad message to get and our thoughts now go to the relatives. We are again reminded of how dangerous the virus can be and how important it is that we endure the strict measure for a while longer."

Gaarder was a prominent conspiracy theorist and regularly promoted views that COVID-19 was comparable to a cold.

In a March 18 post on his Facebook page, Gaarder said: "What could be the reason for the measures 'to prevent infection' for something that will be like a cold or mild flu? Could it be to camouflage that coronavirus is not transmitted from person to person?"

He also shared posts about the Illuminati and conspiracy theories that U.S. President Joe Biden stole the election in November on Facebook and his website.

If rona was to be let loose, not only would there be more cases, but more deaths percentage wise because there's only so many people you can fit in a hospital. 1k deaths per 1m cases isn't the same as 1k deaths per 10k cases. Now, yes, this is not the rona percentage, but the point is the same. The death rate now is about 2%, and that's with hospitals having space. Imagine if they got completely overwhelmed to the point of not being able to house additional patients or provide adequate care. In Croatia 13% of rona cases are hospitalized. With rona let loose the death rate could be up to 10%, like with the Spanish flu.

Oh....more "postmortem COVID test" bullshit. Nothing about symptoms or suffering respiratory illness before dying. Just, "tested positive and therefore the virus killed him". Curious that they wouldn't even deign to claim that he had been suffering with a respiratory illness before dying. Quite the development that no one who knew him could comment about how he how ill he had been, just something from the local municipality which certainly has no motivation to frame his death from that postmortem test. My favorite thing so far has been how much more this virus and viruses in general spread indoors compared to outdoors. The effort to keep outdoor public areas empty, keep people indoors in general, and use curfews to ensure that indoor density of stores and other businesses are compressed has been hilarious. Just check the percentage of people hospitalized with the flu who die from it, that's the same thing. Nobody goes to the hospital when they're sick aside from hypochondriacs and people who seriously are in trouble. Hence if you record hospitalized people, you'll skew the death rate. Nobody knows the number of cases of Kungflu, because plenty of people never bother to take a test (and get it recorded) or assume it's just a generic cold or flu because that's exactly what their symptoms are. Statistics and recording lets you make up as dangerous of a pandemic as you feel like it.

The "death rate" is like 10% for people over 70. "Hospital capacity" is a joke when hospital wings keep closing and overflow for the pandemic never gets used, ever. This is a not dangerous disease barely kept under control, since the vast majority of people who catch it will survive. Again, if a fat orange guy and my 80-something grandma can survive, that suggests so can the vast majority of people.

We've known this for over a year now based on IRL data from cruise ships and the entire nation of Italy. Take your vitamin D and zinc, lose weight, and odds are almost certain you'll be fine assuming you're under 50 and healthy.

Things are getting more concerning in Canada. ICU's in some of the bigger cities are at capacity; our retarded government has started opening up new field hospital "beds" without actually hiring enough ICU RN's to staff those beds. So if you get very sick with the coof, or even with some other random trauma, you could end up in a hospital "bed", but instead of having a qualified critical care RN dedicated to your care, you might get a random pediatric nurse who's juggling you plus 3 other people.

It's gotten to be such a shitshow, they're asking doctors to pick up some nursing duties, trying to persuade veteran nurses to come back from retirement, etc. Even though they've had a year to prepare and train up some nurses and PSW's... but that wasn't the priority I guess??

I'm kinda curious to see if/how this "triage medicine" unfolds. Where if you meet certain criteria (e.g. above a certain age, multiple comorbidities) they could deny you ICU-level care since you have less chance of making a full recovery and they need those precious resources for people who are more likely to benefit.

Basically a ton of old sick people are gonna die. Might not be such a bad thing, we should have just allowed these folks to pass naturally, but families want us to DO EVERYTHING BECAUSE GRAMMY IS A FIGHTER!!!!.
