This has been manually pinned on the Twitter trends for like two days, so the answer is yes, they want a hit.

I laughed at the headline though because I legit thought it was a "heroic" puff piece without knowing what the story was about. Like he "kept them online" and off the streets or something. It's the exact cadence of "he was there for them when no one else was." Good boy.

There is a scary amount of people in the mainstream right now that don't believe black people hold any responsibility for their actions because of "systemic racism."

Hell, they claim that black people attack Asian people due to "white supremacy."

This is an old narrative though going all the way back to at least Bigger Thomas and the 1940 novel Native Son.

And yeah, the idea is that if a black person ever commits a crime or a murder it's not their fault, because they live in a society that essentially gave them no choice.

What's creepy is that idea can and sometimes is applied to everyone, that everyone essentially have no free will and every decision is because of the weight of circumstances, so nothing is ever anyone's "fault"

It's pure moral relativism and you can easily see how that can be taken to more and more extremes beyond how it's applied to black people, you can see how it could be utilized to normalize pedophilia ("it's not their fault they want to molest kids, so why not just let them do it?") and for how they could unironically push full on white genocide ("It's not white people's fault they want to dominate everyone else, it's just the way they are, but we can't allow that so the only answer is to put them all out of their misery")

That's one of those things that just totally boggles the mind and makes you question whether you're really living in reality anymore.

The only logical angle I can find to it is they literally want to break down modern civilization so they can rebuild it into the New World Order, the racial shit just one of the more convenient tools they use to do that.

It's terrifying when you realize just how far they've pushed things over the last decade and how far they might continue to push things over the next, the year 2010 is akin to an entirely different universe than the year 2021.

He was hispanic, so it's a toss-up honestly. People were already up in arms about the shooting and at first glance it looks terrible, and the fact the city was being so evasive it about because they knew how terrible it looks doesn't help. With the Chauvin verdict likely coming up in a week or two though this will probably get pushed aside for Black Lives that Matter more.
