An Antifa arsonist just got bagged by law enforcement. Sadly, Alma Raven-Guido (what a fuckin' name) was released on her own recognizance without bail. But here's the juicy part: it seems someone dropped a dime on her from the inside.

I like the general structure of a stripped down pop song, no middle eight, just abab refrain abab refrain, or other utterly basic shit like that, and we're done. It was a good general form for kids with talent but no experience to start with songwriting. Most of those moved off into post-punk stuff.

Also the Ramones rocked, and anyone who says differently literally gargles diseased cocks.

And to bring it remotely back to antifa, Johnny Ramone would have despised those fucks.

I'm decades past the first day I listened to punk rock and fronted a punk band, decades past wearing shitty clothes and putting glue in my hair, and completely disconnected from whatever remains of the dead gay punk scene (it already had terminal AIDS in the late 90's).

I can still listen to something like OFF! and enjoy it. The Kennedys have a few really good songs. The Aquabats are good clean fun. There are newer punk bands like Gallows, and punk-adjacent stuff like Horse the Band that totally kick ass.

But the fucking Ramones dude? That shit wasn't good then and it ain't good now. I don't think I ever knew anyone in the scene who actually liked the Ramones, for sure nobody listened to them. I received a music library recently that had all the Ramones albums on it. A couple listens on shuffle to that same-y flat tone and total lack of interesting dynamics, and into the DELETE FOREVER pile those albums went (along with Blood Brothers... wtf is that shit).

I'm curious to know what's going to happen since supposedly the FBI's finally admitting Antifa exists and may be a problem. This is under a Biden administration, mind you. I wouldn't even expect them to pay lip service like Barr did, but damn.

I'm curious if the corporate elites realize they've got loose cannons and need to do some purging. Between BLM and Antifa, they'll go after Antifa first and try to keep BLM in their court as long as possible to maintain the anarcho-tyranny.
