Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Biden is basically an empty suit. He's a dementia addled fucktarded neo-lib who is just going to do whatever the DNC says because of the power they have over him with his crackhead son. This is a once in a life-time opportunity. It doesn't matter that all of our enemies are making moves now because they know he's a weak president, they just want to consolidate power on the domestic front. That's why they're using this like some sort of 'mandate' and ramming as much through as frantically as possible.

The filibuster needs to be intact. Change was not meant to come fast, hard and all at once in our system. Gridlock is a feature, not a bug. The problem is once you remove gridlock, everything reverses with each administration. So nothing ends up permanent and everything is in a state of flux until eventually the whole fucking system just falls to pieces like two dogs fighting over a piece of meat.

Another part of the problem is loss of control of information. With each passing day, less and less people are using mainstream news sources. Its why we're seeing massive bans of anything not outside of 'official' news sources on Twitter and Facebook. So its a race against time for them. They have to act now and act fast while all the things are still in their favor. The right is still on the rise and each yell louder alienates more and more people. Now is basically the time they have to push whatever they want through.
The irony is the faster they do this, the more obvious their designs become to the average joe. They needed to be patent, to do this shit at a glacial George Bush pace to have any hope of getting under the radar. Now their asses are in the wind and 2022 is getting closer and closer.

The problem for the democrats and the people who are pushing these changes is that the changes they want are unpopular both short and long term. The reason why the democrats are pushing this stuff through at lightning speed now is that given the free flow of information in spite of big techs best efforts makes it impossible to achieve their goals going through conventional democratic means. That's why they fixed the 2020 election and imo will try to fix the 2022 election.

There is essentially a race going on between the America first GOP and the democrats. The democrats have to get their cultural and thus electoral lock before the America first GOP can repair the loopholes that got the democrats the White House in the first place. Now I'm reasonably confident that they won't be able to achieve this by 2022. However the threat only goes away if the GOP respond by shoring up the voting laws in the swing states. There has been some headway and it's good news that some audits are coming, but I would strongly recommend America first types to concentrate their efforts on doing that than worrying whether or not the dems will achieve their win condition.

I've heard people describe the democrats as alpha. They are not alpha, they are desperate and desperate people are the most dangerous. So America first needs to get cracking and shore up them voting laws. They do that then the 2022 midterms sorts itself out.

You fuck off, nigger skank. I said nothing to imply that Russia had any right to Europe. I said that Russia has a right to live without the spectre of American imperialism exercised through NATO. Moreover, European nations are at a disadvantage by becoming client states to the American domination machine. And Russia smartly refuses to play ball.

The entire European continent is in turmoil because of the machinations of an imperialist power on the other side of the world. And as an American watching my country rot, I dislike seeing my government wage war with our soldiers and our money for no good reason. I dislike subsidizing the prosperity of European nations that grow fat and happy on the back of American soldiers. If Russia is such a threat to Western Europe, maybe the Germans should buy some guns and tanks and maybe the English should rebuild the RAF and maybe the French should spend less time marching around Northern Africa.

All if this is because America won't and can't let any of these nations determine their own fate. And at the fore of that is Russia. God forbid they're allowed to build pipelines, engage in diplomacy in the Middle East or ensure the stability of their region from an aggressor-state that is intentionally stirring the pot.
A defense alliance is imperialism? Ukraine joining said defense alliance is aggression?

I'm a Pole and I fucking hate every side of this impending calamity.

USA for fueling coups and civil wars and thinking it can still throw their weight around like it's nobody's business. Spoiler alert: they can't and got diplomatically humiliated recently by both China and Russia.

NATO for being total retard chair force, of which their member countries don't want to spend the necessary money on military. Daddy Murica is paying the bill while we pay some lip service and grow fat in the bureaucratic chairs, so why bother training the troops, and maybe, I don't know, not lacking in basic equipment, rifles, ammo and such? And don't even get me started on the R&D part of the military.

Ukraine for simping (by means of saber rattling) for their neonazi retards and allowing themselves to be manipulated almost exactly like Georgia in 2008.

Poland for their spreading cheeks of "unwavering support" to USA for the past...I don't even know how many years. All the while having laughable and corrupt military itself and generally being the Bangladesh of Europe.

Russia for actually pulling the trigger and invading the Ukraine. I don't care what anyone says about treatment of Russians in Ukraine by Poroshenko and Zelensky. Fucking solve it by diplomatic means you barbarians. You don't invade neighbors when you feel like it, go and crucify Khrushchev in your history books for fucking giving the Crimea away.

I don't want to play "who's more to blame" game. NATO sucks dicks because they should be dissolved after 1991. But sure, we all know what happens with organizations and bureaucracies that outlive their achieved goals - they need to justify their obsolete existence by finding new dragons to slay, be it former Yugoslavia, Libya or Russia. Why the hell do they need all these bases for anyway?

I actually worked with people who emigrated from Ukraine in 2014. Each and every one of them is a good, hard working human being that don't deserve the quagmire that their government, my government and malevolent foreign influence got their country into.

I mean, NATO was formed in '49 and then the Warsaw Pact was formed in '55 as a response to NATO. So there were two alliances facing off against each other. NATO was formed when the Soviets refused to give up their half of Germany and dropped the Iron Curtain and conducted the Berlin blockade in '48.

NATO was a direct response to Soviet aggression and expansion immediately following WWII. Not to mention it wasn't America that instigated NATO, it was the European powers. Also the Czechs, with Soviet help, overthrew their democratic government and became communist. So yeah, there's a big huge reason that NATO exists.

As to why NATO exists now, well, there really was no plan for dismantling it after the USSR fell, I mean, that happened almost a half century later so it just was never dismantled. Its hard to say, "Dissolve NATO." when there's a ton of bullshit involved in doing so.

More seriously though I wish Ukraine would just rebuild its nuclear arsenal. The EU is too busy sucking up Russian gas to want to get involved and the US is busy tumbling up the stairs along with Biden. Their unwavering support didn't do much for Ukraine in 2014 and the only serious NATO player is issuing sanctions for interference in the "most secure election in US history" rather than the military buildup and threat of war.

Relying on other nations to fight your battles or even adhere to treaties created to prevent those battles from happening has been a losing move for Ukraine.

Who's gonna stop them, though?
I don't negate the usefulness of military alliances themselves. NATO is a military alliance that was meant to counteract possible Soviet aggression and now is aimed directly at Russia and is used to antagonize Russia. They got scope-creeped hard after dissolution of USSR, because they suddenly achieved they (un)stated objective and were, in fact, obsolete. So they reinvented themselves from a purely defensive alliance to America's meddlers.

Ukraine should not antagonize its bigger and stronger neighbor at the behest of foreign interests, which is exactly what happened in this case. They got played and share part of the blame.

Based Poland. Why can't you rule Europe? You're best girl.

No, I'm making a point about power. You say that you "don't invade neighbors when you feel like it"-- if that's the case, why not? "Because it's something you don't do" isn't a good response. "Because if you do we'll push you back and wreck your shit on top of that" is.
