Now I admit that I am no expert in the US legal system but all sources I can find claims that prostitution can only be punished by up to 12 months in jail at max. So there have to be something going on there.

After all, available numbers show that over 40% of trans-identified male inmates were registered sex offenders. That's over twice the rate of normal male inmates (19%). He's probably "lying in the vicinity of the truth," so when he comes out and is a registered sex offender he can claim that he's being persecuted by the state for being a prostitute.

And that's why he won't put his real name out there. He'll put his picture out there, because it's harder to match a face to a name you don't know. But if he puts his name out there, people would be able to find his real arrest record.

Because yeah, you don't get 3+ years for being a prostitute in Georgia, which is where he claims to be incarcerated. In GA, prostitutes are sentenced to up to one year in the county jail, they don't even go to prison. He'd have to be a pimp or trafficker to go to prison for multiple years for anything even remotely close to prostitution.

This really reminds me of when Laverne Cox tried to stand up for a "persecuted" trans inmate, Synthia China Blast, who claimed that "she" was being treated poorly and was totally innocent and so on, only to find that he was a certified child raping and murdering psychopath. Trans will always lie and play the victim, no matter what.

Why is he wearing those clothes instead of something he fashioned out of prison issue clothes? I've been in correctional facilities from city level to federal and the only time I've seen a door handle like this is in a monitored phone room in a regular jail, however the door latch is facing inwards which means it would be easy to slip the latch to leave. There's also no second key slot for a deadbolt for the guards, and the regular knob would allow for hanging.

Some minimum security institutions allow some "regular" clothes but this all screams of lies.

Also, the cell photo has been floating around since 2015. It's on reverse image search.

Luckily, she denounced Blast shortly after reading his letter. Laverne Cox is one of the only true and honest trans women I respect.
