Like most Twitter political spergs, Bob has an only surface level understanding of world-events, history, and the politics underlining them. Their politics is informed entirely by their own personal preconceived biases and mainstream conversation or talking points, following and regurgitating them like the mindless consoomers they are. It's why all their political takes are so mind-numbingly childish, dividing the world between themselves and "Nazis" that are apparently hiding around ever corner in modern America, and making all their political analogies with fucking Marvel movies and Harry Potter.
Bobby's demonstrated that he's never taken two minutes to think thru his hot takes when it comes to wanting to reintroduce eugenics, invade Poland or Brazil for having "fascist" leadership, or wanting to genocide the midwest and turn it into a giant preserve for genetically engineered dinosaurs. That is true, though. There were a lot of jews involved with Italian fascism(one was even one of Mussolini's lover), and some types of fascism even explicitly rejected a racial basis for their movement(Brazilian Integralism), plus, while you can debate whatever Ba'athism is a fascist ideology or not(despite having all the big hallmarks of it), it was pretty much meant to be unifying dozens of different ethnic/religious groups living from Point Cires and the Tigris, which would be at odds with a overtly racialist basis.
Every time I think about that mountain dew chicken I am legitimately baffled. How exactly can someone even suggest doing something like that, much less actually carrying it out, is beyond me.
There are actual recipes out there that include mountain dew as part of the marinade, and the marinade is applied, like any marinade "for 2 to 3 hours, or overnight". Given how Bob describes it as a " cooking hack", he must have leapt to the conclusion that the one weird ingredient contained all the power of the marinade, and the "or overnight" meant "longer is better" instead of "it'll still be okay if you don't get to it today"
knowing this though, it's sort of weird how the stereotype of "fascist" (especially when interchangeably used with "nazi") is "racist/bigot" and that this is the ONLY important difference between fascism and communism.
Modern mainstream political discourse is a race toward the bottom, and it have been like that for a while. Remember that people were making comparations between Obama and Hitler 10 years ago.
