I'd mention some game or anime involving a straight couple in some online community that had troons and one of them would immediately butt in going "Eww, straights are bad though. this is an old one but ten years ago a goon was angry in a web comic thread because one of the main characters probably wasnt gay. the writer then showed up and shared the neurotic meltdown that goon had on his official forum and across all his social media.

Yeah, no. Fuck you and fuck Tom. I guess it's nice he made a 'please stop reading my webcomic, it's becoming like any other teen romance strip' arc though. Real considerate-like. Always good to see straightforward, boring fuckin' romance blooming. And at the end, they'll have a kid, Annie'll die, and Kat'll be there to talk about the kid's adventures in the school or some other stereotypically generic thing. Because the kids must be like the parents, always and forever.
and in the end theres not even a romantic sub plot between annie and jack whatesoever, they were just talking at a party. also the girl kat ends up with that he calls the "designated weirdo character" is just a sweet shy hispanic girl, which says a lot imo. as far as i know it wasn't in response to that nutter, tom plans stuff out years in advance.
