I refuse to believe that ANY Bond would stoop to using Ultramarines.
I think, most of the ships in that shot are captured Japanese ships... and some had live animals on board for testing purposes, too. That black object on the right side of the mushroom cloud? That's a battleship.

There were actually a fair amount of American ships there, that battleship was for sure. They also had a German cruiser. The more horrifying aspect of those tests was the complete lack of knowledge of how irradiated water works. They actually tried to clear radiation by spraying it down with hoses, which just spread contaminated shit around more. 50s era atomic experiments were insaneI think, most of the ships in that shot are captured Japanese ships... and some had live animals on board for testing purposes, too.
As spectacular as this looks, I think the only ships that were actually destroyed were those directly above the explosion, the ones even right next to it suffered significant damage, but they still took days to sink (so either plenty of time to evacuate without much loss of life or possibly even repairable).
Nuke-torpedos are great for destroying priority targets like carriers, but they are surprisingly ineffective against large fleets. Iirc, even air bursts aren't as destructive to battleships as one might think. Anyone on deck exposed to the flash will be dead, but the ship itself takes little damage if it's outside the strongest blast radius and radiation/heat don't do much to the ship or its crew inside.
Pic tax:
