Are you getting the vaccine? - Absolute trashfire thread, please enter with caution

If you're at school you're going to be fine. It also means you're underage but thats neither here nor there.

You really need to stop your family from watching the MSM. They'll thank you for it.
I'm taking hs classes online (definitely going to convince my parents to let me go in-person next year) and am feeling pretty healthy. But apparently that's not enough to be exempt from taking the jab ("asymptomatic" or not).

Believe me, dude. I've tried a few times but they're boomers. Their beliefs are already set in place to the point where it's difficult to challenge them.

Easy way to find out, @Hollywood Hulk Hogan and @Vulva Gape, you've both expressed some pretty retarded opinions in this thread already, (and I honestly couldn't give any less of a shit about debating you on any of them) but I will ask you both: Do you believe that any of the various covid jabs are effective against ebola, or any other non-covid virus for that matter? Also, have you ever even heard somebody seriously claim that it was? I suspect not, but maybe I'm giving you too much credit.
I'm not surprised if they do think that. But God, man, don't let them shit up this thread even more.

EDIT: @Hollywood Hulk Hogan Oop.

Your mom might be referring to that they've been working on mRNA vaccines a while now and the funding came in more during ebola. That same technology was used for the mRNA vaccines for covid.

Although this thread is full of anti-vax retards so none of you will care anyway
Mm, probably. Though she wasn't clear on what specific vaccine/vaccines they were working on during the Obama administration.

Sadly, I'm not on the anti-vax side of this debate. If people want to take them and feel safer being vaccinated, fine. More power to them. I'm just curious about what the long-term side affects would be in the future. An aunt of mine recently took hers and she said that she's been feeling fine as of late (still wears her mask to places and sanitizes things, though).

Its less of an anti vs pro vaccine debate in this case.
Its more of an anti THIS vaccine, and a debate of whether or not people should be made to get it.

I feel a lot of you but a few of you are acting like how tards act the disease works: considering few people have major side effects or died from it it won't kill you immediately or with 3-6 weeks if you get it. Like yeah, don't get it because you think the governments are tards and we don't know the year + side effects, but don't think its immediately deadly either. Most of you haven't though, which is nice.

I'm going to travel soon so I have to book mine, no choice.

Not any time soon. I'm not at risk, no one in my immediate circle is at risk. I don't plan on traveling internationally in the near future, and I'm comfortable limiting my social activities for now.

Why am I waiting? The vaccine is actually multiple vaccines, they're in limited supply, the long term effects have not been tested and lastly, new vaccines are coming out every couple of months that are supposed to be better than the last.
There are people that are at urgent risk and need to take that chance, I'm not one of them. So why not leave a vaccine for those people?

I don't watch MSNBC but no I haven't heard anything like that.

It's always cute when retards like you who barely passed elementary school science class think that they know more than doctors and scientists and then they say that others are retarded.
You know... I mostly asked that question as a joke, but I do appreciate you honestly answering it. Thankyou.

I still don't give enough of a shit to respond to the troll bits though. Sorry, I don't do kayfabe.

Speaking of which, I don't believe you've ever directly called me "anti-vax" and I thank you for that, because I'm very obviously not. I'm just so completely and fully *pro*-abortion that I genuinely think the idea of letting little kids die from polio or whatever is funny, because most little kids are fucking retarded and probably shouldn't live anyway... :like:

Just bend the knee and do what your betters tell you to do. It's easier that way.

Is the vaccine safe? Probably.

"Probably" is not a good enough answer for me in this case. No health issues I have are complicating factors and the fact that the government is screeching at you to get it sketches me out. I also live about half a mile from my closest neighbor, no one I live with is vulnerable and I leave the house only for food and supplies, so I don't really need to worry about random social interaction (god bless working from home tbh.) Perfectly happy to wait at least until the end of 2021 to see how everything plays out.

I already got the Moderna vaccine. I feel fine 🤷‍♂️
I'm more afraid of not being able to get a passport to leave Weimarica if I want than the vaccine.
Although peoples concerns are valid and I do not blame them for not getting it.
At the very least I hope it mutates me into a David Cronenberg monster.

Obama put some money into improving the CDC/NIH response/vaccine capability and contingency plans during the Ebola shit, and wanted them to come up with a plan to deal with it if it came to the US as well as to get shipments into Africa, iirc. Earlier in his admin, he had cut the capability for the CDC/NIH to respond, because every single president does this on the assumption that they won't have to deal with a pandemic. Trump did this as well, cutting back on what Obama's expenditures had bulked up, but he made an about-face in March/April 2020 at least. Anyone suggesting these vaccines are multipurpose is retarded. The mRNA tech is multipurpose, but you can't splurt some of this stuff to cure ebola.

I need to schedule an appointment somewhere around here. Just been lazy tbh

If I had to in order to get a job and my family was broke, then I would have to bite the bullet; otherwise, no fucking way. They can't dangle any carrots over my head to try and get me to take the snake oil they're selling because I don't go out for anything besides the necessities (It's boring, but it saves money and takes away leverage from big pharma and the the guv'ment)

Unfortunately for the Jews, my family isn't broke, meaning I have no reason to take any of these very suspicious vaccines for a very, very long time. Maybe if they're proven to not kill people or turn them into braindead zombies, I'll consider weighing the options of getting vaccinated. There's a few good reasons that big pharma would want to fuck around with us via vaccine.

Lmfao at all the anti-vaxxers outing themselves as NEETs with no social life :story: :story: :story: :story:

I'll be fully vaxxed in a couple days, already planned to go meet up in groups and go downtown.
I think most of us have been shut ins throughout this pandemic. I actually do not blame them for being skeptical. Taking a vaccine (which is forced for some people) and having the corporations behind them completely waived of any legal recourse if anything goes wrong is a huge red flag.

I took it and i am still not comfortable not knowing if i will develop prions disease, or if i have just completely compromised my immune system. We will probably not know for sure for at least 2-3 years and by then it will be too late. Oh well, at least we will get to buy drinks for roasties and have the privledge of being mugged by dindus in our precious downtown beer festivals.

I think it's really unlikely that the vaccine is going to do some crazy "I Am Legend" shit. Then again, I'm not necessarily jumping at this experimental vaccine - I haven't changed my life at all since COVID started aside from doing whatever the bare minimum would be to not get thrown out of a store. I just don't care about COVID and I don't really care about the vaccine, but I'm not completely opposed to it either. I'm fine with vaccines and I'm fully vaccinated in other respects. I may get it one day, I just don't want to be part of the first few waves to see how it pans out.

Apparently being nuanced is what counts as "anti-vax" these days because my friends can't wrap their head around this at all. You are either eagerly for the COVID vaccine with no questions asked, or you are a rabid anti-vaxxer who thinks kids should get polio - there's apparently no in between anymore.

I'm not. Unless forced to. I had a public sector job, we were offered the flu jab, and I was the only one not to take it.

and the only one not to take time off for flu.

I can understand afrocabs not wanting to take it.

have we got to the point where society fails to realise that bigphar ma is just trying to con peop le?
if you want to take it fine... Just remember that j&j have paused their vax. J&j who had that talc...

Not vaccinated, likely not going to. Haven't been in lockdown since May 2020. Life is pretty normal here.

What's your point?

Did you have a stroke while writing this?

I am getting my first vaccine shot (Pfizer or Moderna) on Sunday. I am nervous about it, not looking forward to side effects and shit but I belong to the risk group and so do many of my family members and friends. I know many healthy young people who got Covid and said they have never been so sick before in their life and some still struggle with long-term effects.

So, either get Covid, take the vaccine or stay isolated and go crazy. AIDS, Pest or Cholera. Take your pick. Life is risky and it will fuck you over no matter what.
