It is not anti-Semitic to say that the Jews in Jerusalem were responsible, as a group, for the death of Jesus.
The Pharisees did that and had to do it in the middle of the night because Jesus was popular among many Jews, and they were afraid that he was endangering their authority. It's a pretty obvious fact that the Romans, who had the final say in the matter, and were actually the ones who literally physically crucified him, bear the responsibility for the shit they actually did.
All of the original followers of Jesus, and Jesus himself, would have considered themselves Jews.
It wasn't until Saul of Tarsus made the church "catholic," a word literally meaning available to all, that Christianity was even available to anyone who wasn't Jewish.
The situation was a lot more complicated than "Jesus was killed by the Jews." Jesus' followers were also nearly entirely Jews.
It is amazing how people don't even bother to know about how Lovecraft was. And those who know try to appropriate his thematic and works in order to "wash away the influence of the filthy and terribly racist white man". It's both hilarious and infuriating.
Lovecraft was a lot more complicated a man than "lmao he named his cat Nigger Man" or "OMG this racist named his cat Nigger Man" or "he even supported Hitler." If you read his letters, which are more voluminous than his actual published works, he only supported Hitler until finding out what he was actually about, and despite being a virulent racist in his abstract views, was actually invariably polite and even generous to minorities, even Jews. He literally married a Jew, although they amicably divorced. He was incredibly generous to aspiring writers, again, including Jews, giving them advice, and that was apparently good advice since so many of them ended up writing similarly to his style and ended up themselves famous.
Part of the reason the whole Lovecraft mythos even exists is so many other people were influenced by it.
Lovecraft was a weirdo, and his weirdness extended beyond mere racism. For instance, he was such a ridiculous Anglophile he detested the American Revolution and thought it shouldn't have happened. This was far from his only crackpot belief.
Something people don't get about Lovecraft, though, is he was fundamentally a
nice person.
