Long post incoming. I have a few questions I'm investigating. I'm not making any firm declarations yet, but maybe the people in this forum have some useful insight. Here goes:
1. Is the man pictured below Jim's father, Brian Patrick O'Shaughnessy ("BPO")?
I found these pictures in the Forest Lake High School yearbooks for 1977 and 1978. We know from previous posts that Jim's father is named Brian Patrick O'Shaughnessy, and that his birth date was listed as 10-21-1960. I put Brian's full name into the MN court records search, which returned the following 2007 assault case:
The Brian Patrick O'Shaugnessy ("BPO") listed here has a birthday of 10-24-1960. which is very close, but not an exact match for the 10-21-1960 birth date listed previously. However, it is not uncommon to have small discrepancies like this due to clerical errors, so further investigation is warranted. The court records list this BPO as living in "Centuria, WI," which is about 40 minutes away from Forest Lake, MN—very close. I performed searches on various databases and found the following information:
As we can see, there is a BPO in Centuria WI who was involved in foreclosure proceedings in June, 2008. This BPO was married to a "Margaret M O'Shaughnessy," as evidenced by published notices from that time period (archive). I believe this BPO is the same BPO with the 2007 assault conviction because of the following:
Clearly this BPO is the same one listed in the MN court records because the name, charges, and locations match exactly, and the dates are consistent. Moreover, I believe the BPO in the mugshot is the same BO in the Forest Lake yearbooks for 1977 and 1978. Although the hair is shorter in the mugshot, the nose, mouth, eyes, and eyebrows bear a strong resemblance. To be sure, the age listed as of the "processing date" (47) corresponds with the age of the BO pictured in the yearbooks (HS sophomore / junior age).
The bigger question is whether this BPO is Jim's father. It is certainly possible given that (1) the full name is an exact match, (2) his location in proximity to Jim is a match, (3) his age is a match, (4) his reported birthday is a near match (the 3-day discrepancy can be explained as a clerical error). Finally, Grandpa Thomas's obituary mentions that BPO married someone named "Maggie," which is commonly a nickname for Margaret.
The BPO from Centuria married a Margaret. Circumstantially, the shoe fits. What do you guys think? Is the Brian Patrick O'Shaughnessy discussed above the father of our James Patrick O'Shaughnessy?
And now, we need to talk about Kevin...

I found this picture in the Forest Lake HS yearbook for 1975. Jim's uncle Kevin Sean O'Shaughnessy ("KSO") is referenced in the obituary for Jim's paternal grandfather, Thomas (archive). Searching for KSO's name in the MN court website yields the following result:
Obviously, that is a very, very bad charge. If I'm reading it correctly, it appears the victim was under 13 years old (I haven't tracked down the reports yet btw). This KSO lives in close proximity to Forest Lake, and appears to be the same age as the KO in the Forest Lake yearbook. I was also able to find the following KSO mugshot, which I believe is the same KSO as the one listed in the court records:
In my opinion, this KSO strongly resembles the KO pictured in the 1975 Forest Lake HS yearbook. As with BPO, the person in the mugshot has shorter hair and appears much older, but the facial features are otherwise strikingly similar (specifically the jaw line, the chin, the mouth, and the eyes).
The real question is whether this pedophile KSO is Jim's uncle Kevin. Circumstantially, it would seem all the same factors relevant to BPO are also relevant to KSO (name, age, proximity to Jim, and other people in the O'Shaughnessy family).
What do you guys think? Is this pedophile Kevin Sean O'Shaughnessy Jim's uncle? If so, it would explain why Jim is so strongly against pedophiles.
To be clear, I'm not trying to take a shot at Jim. If the people above are in fact Jim's family members, it should not reflect badly on him, because he does not have control over them. I just came across this information in the course of my research, so I'm asking for help verifying it before I include it in my Jim biopic.

This question is less important, but I might as well ask it. Jim's mother's obituary mentions that she had two other kids from a previous marriage—Melissa Erickson and Chris Erickson. The previous husband's name was Robert Dale Erickson.
I again looked through the Forest Lake yearbook for 1987, 1988, and 1989, and found the following:
Chris apparently married someone named "Holly," who previously was named Holly Seekel.
There is a Holly Seekel in the Forest Lake HS yearbooks for 1988 and 1989. She's a grade lower than Chris. For that reason, I believe the "Chris Erickson" from the yearbook is "Christopher Ashley Erickson" from the MOMS database screencapped above. Are Chris and Melissa Erickson Jim's brother and sister from another mister, respectively?

I did some more research. I looked at facebook, (because boomers) And came up with a very interesting coincidence.
It would appear that a part of the family is in VA and other in MN. I think the dude in the photo is BPO. In his pfp there is a comment by Jennifer and mentions VA. Then I checked and the KSO that has a location and age match also mention VA, specifically Chesapeke.
