The prosecutions entire case is trying to compartmentalize multiple different contributing factors and deny that they have any interaction or compounding effects. I just don't understand how they think the jury can buy that. I think the biggest factor in their deliberations will be the societal pressure to convict lest their city burn down and they as jurors are lynched.
