You know you have a strong case when you can't even instruct the jury to go on the FACTS that you spent literally two weeks presenting them.

Yes, you have extras on the jury when watching the evidence. These are your alternates in case something should happen to one of the 12. hence why we had 15 jurors, even though only 12 will decide.

I am curious what CAUSED the swap.

Shit, if I was on that jury i'd be breaking my leg to have an excuse to hop off. Especially if I thought that the murder charges weren't going to stick.

Keep in mind, the defense hasn't actually made a closing argument yet.

Which to be fair is the point I've been making: the prosecution is doing the defense's job for them.
