Wel[, finally saw the Happy Happy Joy Joy documentary for free on Vudu.

Let's just say while it's ok, it could had been better with more info on how the Games episodes were, as well as more detail into APC and the other post-R&S projects that happened after John K's firing, and some more info on his Enemies List.

At least they should've gave Billy West more screen time, mention the Billy West feud on Howard Stern, and at least get Katie Rice involved. I like it, but there's more to be desired as everyone else here said before.

I genuinely feel the same, especially since the APC story would make a great documentary on its own. And to not spend time on the contributions of the late Chris Reccardi to the show is baffling.

So basically John K is gone from the internet for good? Cause I haven't heard anything about him in awhile. Unless you count people making roast videos about him new info. :/

Well good to know he's still able to draw smutty women in his old art style. No one seemed to talk about it but a couple weeks back he pencilled some new art and god his modern super deformed art is just ugly looking.

John refers to it as UPA-ish and I disagree. UPA certainly was stylized in a simplistic way but it never drew a woman's head 100 times bigger than her actual body. And the man's giantic ear almost hanging off his head is just disturbing to me.

I guess John only bothers to follow his animation rules if it can arouse him.

Oh, I thought UPA was EVIL AND FLAT.
This lil nigger was complaining about every 2000's cartoon for having cartoony animation that wasn't specifically his style (and if it was similar to the Ren and Stimpy style he'd just call it a rip-off). Now he's doing "upa style" and it's fucking shit.

You wonder why he's against it when without UPA, there'd be no Hanna-Barbera...

But maybe he's being subconsciously pissy over how the Games R&S episodes grew flatter, more UPA-like - the same look that would later define the early Cartoon Cartoons?

Yeah, no. He lost that ability to draw that well LONG ago. Heck it's a debate if he even did that drawing or not. If you've been keeping up with his art, he's been uploading nothing but rough doodles and sketches for years now. Personally his rough drawings never bothered me because I always assumed that it's not meant to be the finished drawings. Many artist would often make rough sketches of their drawings before finalizing it. But for many of the rough drawings he always uploaded, he never really follows through with or even attempt to finalize his drawings. However now that I am thinking about it, when did John K even finalized/finished any of his drawings he produced?

I might need to a side-by-side comparison of all John K drawings over the years just to show how much of his drawing ability had actually deteriorated.

I was trying to find that one post on his blog where John admitted that he was trying to copy the UPA style in the 80's. This post was made after another post where he talked crap about UPA. He goes from talking bad about it to say "oh and by the way I copied this art style at one point." He's a walking talking contradiction and that's an understatement.

Even if it wasn't because he stole his women's animation and visual style from an ex, I legit think John's women style looks like shit. I legit think his style in general was shit, even when he actually did try and didn't piss away what talent he had.

He is a pedo. Any sort of "talent" he had is wasted on someone like him who, in my opinion, should be shot in the head and left him to rot in a ditch (in Minecraft).

ironically i think he stole it from robyn or katie, or anyone who worked with him because in adult party, i don’t think he was too responsible for drawing most of the women on that weird beach episode.
