Since people are bugging on ODD, I'm of the mind that Chantal doesn't have any severe neurological conditions beyond depression and anxiety brought on by the state of her body and the environment she lives in. However, Chantal is misanthropic and has constantly alluded to one massive event in her teenage years, that made her the angry, mean, and socially reclusive person she is today. Her agoraphobia and hatred of being seen by other people has a lot to do, at least she says, with this specific event.
Now, there was a specific video from two years ago, when she was uploading daily weightloss videos, there was the famous video where she went on and on about how food addicts are just like heroin addicts, etc. Unfortunately, quite a few of the videos from this time have been deleted or privated, but there was one where Chantal had gone to a therapist and was asked to draw a picture of how she felt. I forget if she showed it, but from what she described, it was esseintially a black vortex that signified her anger and hatred of the world / people.
I'm not a psychologist or a medical sperg, but I think Chantal's issues aren't due to a disorder, but her inability to address whatever huge thing happened to her. From the sound of it over the years, I'm assuming it was some type of Carrie thing where teenagers dumped pigs blood on her or called her fat or something and she just hasn't been able to get past it, which leads us to now. Just thought I'd bring up some deeper lore for any of the new people.
I can certainly have sympathy for people who struggle to move past traumatic childhood experiences, but if you act like Chantal and refuse to do any work to address those experiences or move past something and instead, smash edibles and act like a massive cunt, in the words of Jason Genova, whooooooooooo careeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees?
