>they're going with the shitty compromise option that pisses everyone off
God I hope that's true, much more fun scenario then the full guilty anticlimax I expect
Full guilty will be pretty climatic too, just likely in a different way. You'll still have chimp-outs, but you'll see a massive spike in the already occurring trend of cops going into early retirement.

Acquitting him but finding him guilty in appeals would be the funniest result imo (if that can even happen)

Edit: thanks for the info frens

TAKE COVER!

At the very least I'm glad that it's generally in the air that if a full conviction occurs it's because of a large concerted effort to obstruct justice. Let it all hang out, America.

I gotta say, if Chauvin is acquitted of all charges (:optimistic:), then along with the whole EDPedo revelation, this will be one of the worst weeks for black people since Dredd Scott in 1857

I believe the most obvious and justified outcome is that he'll get manslaughter. But I haven't been following the trial, so perhaps it was shitty, irregular or showy enough that the whole thing is declared void or he walks.

In any case BLM would riot even if he got murder, because the judge didn't open a rift to hell in the courtroom and send him down right then and there.

Have fun, burgers.

It's hard to say. As it did not immediately return a verdict means they looked over the testimony.
Bro, you KNOW at least one of the jurors fully intended on digging in their heels on a guilty verdict for manslaughter at least. I'm frankly surprised there wasn't a heel digger for both sides. But the former seems more likely than the latter to me.
