I'm not a lawfag, but just for the record, what legal grounds does Chauvin and Nelson have to appeal this?
Literally dozens, as to each charge and as to the conduct of the trial itself. Getting all three overturned is an incredible uphill climb and very unlikely. So the primary grounds, I believe, will be multiple causes that there should have been a mistrial. I think only by actually overturning the rulings not to grant a mistrial can he win.

Nigga is screwed.

Fuck them.

Reminder that if Chauvin was called to arrest someone for, say, "hate speech", last May, he would joyously do so with a big smile on his face. Cops are just the foot-soldiers of the local government, which itself is the footsoldier for the ruling elite.
You're right, but mob justic controlling the courts is not exactly a better outcome.

If you thought the cops played dead fish during the 2020 riots, baby, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Election fraud didnt broke anything. By the next day everyone was again on the same partisan shit

Yes, but that's one incident. Now here comes another. And then there's the outcome of the Rittenhouse trial. He seems to be a likeable kid - Derek Chauvin didn't have that in his favor, plus he's a cop. But Rittenhouse - he's more relatable.

I'm saying that this is all compounding on top of everything that came before.

I truly don't understand how anyone could have put their money on any other outcome. There's never been this much jury intimidation on a case in human history. What, you thought they were going to weigh the facts and vote accordingly? Can I have a key to the door that leads to the magic fairy world you live in?
I thought manslaughter. Frankly the counts are contradictory. So that's also an appeal point. I was certainly not expecting an acquittal.

Have you been paying attention of this thread at all?
- no hemorrhaging = didnt die of suffication
- no injury of neck means nonintent to choke, a full 90lbs of knee would do that
- bodycam footage shows at least one point where knee was on the back
Innocent? Probably not. Second Degree murder? Also, probably not
Minnesota law has “substantial cause”. You don’t need to be the only reason the guy died to be guilty of murder or manslaughter

That's what I'm saying lmao.

Probably manslaughter is what they should, realistically, have found him guilty of.

But contrary to what you read on /pol/, (accidentally) killing a nigger has consequences. It's exactly the same dindu shit that niggers pull.

The democrats have given them free food, free housing and the ability to run amok killing one another with little to no interference for almost half a century now and they’re still complaining about literally everything every single day. It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so pathetic. We let them have votes and treat them like people and they still act like fucking shaved apes. Amazing.

Also, I have no opinion on this (since I don't have a law degree like the rest of the posters here) but Dershowitz was also interviewed and said he thinks this whole thing will be overturned and declared a mistrial within two years, possibly going to the Supreme Court.
I wonder if he picked that time frame because it's the average amount of time between a BLM rioter learning to read and being shot to death over a pair of sneakers?

New generation, new case. The circle of hood life.
