Some people just don't want to process what exactly this entails due to just how fucking awful it is, others are idiotic enough to be happy about the outcome. One thing's for sure though, regardless of how many people recognize the enormity of this verdict, this is a landmark precedent for the justice system in this country and if you don't pass the paper bag test, it's time to leave as soon as possible.

I'm thinking Alaska. Still in the U.S. but far away from all this clown shit.
Alaska is still in the US you fucking retard.

He has it for the first, not the second. The people chasing him were acting as much in self defense as he was.

Stand your ground says “ehhh”. Self defense can also be in the protection of others or property. It’s completely possible for both sides to be correct on self defense there.
Self defense is a defense in court.

If the police had cuffed all the mostly peaceful protesters and they had gotten charged with assault or whatever, they could make the defense that they were acting in self defense by chasing a purported mass shooter. They might even win with that defense.

What doesn't happen is for the others claim self defense, therefore Rittenhouse is guilty.

Federal charges would be applied on a different basis if they were charged. You cannot be charged by the state and the feds for the same crime. That’s also double jeopardy, IIRC
That is not true. Its called the dual sovereignty exception. tldr: both the state and federal governments are considered sovereign in their own right so both can try for the same crime without violating double jeopardy

Honestly no one should be coping. Its a win for everyone but chauvin (wife included)
Nogs now know they can indeed nog without repercussions
Reddit and Twitter don't have to cope to a suicide hotline
Some kiwis here coping hard
Some kiwis enjoying the cope
Small businesses MIGHT survive (god have mercy if they have shoes or liquor)
Cops will now be too afraid to actually do their job
Crime will sky rocket in dem areas
But also cop on black killings will also go down

All things considered its a hearty lol from me.
