Columbus Ohio looks like it's about to pop off. A 15 year old girl was shot by police after charging a cop with a knife.

You would have had a point before today.

I dunno, most of the other cases so far haven't had the same result. They chimped out over Jacob Blake, no charges for the officers. They chimped out over basically every black man or woman killed by a cop since Floyd, and to the best of my knowledge, so far none of those cops are on the chopping block except little miss can't-cross-draw, and that is in MN specifically, much like Chauvin, so RIP her for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, but it will be hard for the case to made that it was anything but an honest mistake given the video of what she did.

Chauvin may have done nothing wrong upon exacting analysis, but staying on Floyd's neck after his junior couldn't find a pulse is probably the big reason he got unjustifiably found guilty across the board because it's a bad look. Officers that haven't done the "extra" like this may get run through a media and BLM spin cycle, but seem to come out on the other side without charges.

I guess we'll see going forward. I'm not optimistic, but Chauvin did not do himself any favors and I think that's most of the reason things are how they are.
