Sure but the roots of neo-liberalism were already present in classic liberalism which is why we often use neo-liberal and liberal interchangeably.

Are you comparing Macron and Putin? It is understandable for eastern europe to react against the failure of stalinism by looking to strong leaders. My explanation is simply that America and Britain did not experience this early and aggressive revolutionary marxism, they adopted republicanism and democratic constitutional monarchism (or whatever you call Britain's political system). You say it yourself, eastern european nations are POST marxist, the anglo sphere is not, they are just now getting around to it.

With regards to france, I think their communes were rather short lived. France does not seem especially skeptical of progressivism, or particularly traditional to me. Macron is a consummate neoliberal, and parrots many progressive talking points. Not sure where you are getting his disdain for "this ideology"

Like I said, if the claim about "Marxism subversion" was true then nations under Marxist rule would be more globohomo, not less. This is clearly a midwit theory and it's not true if you do even basic thinking.

Apparently any John Goodman avatar is intimidating. I've even had one of him holding a baby. Can't wait to watch my local cities burn extra funny since they never fully fixed the damage 2x extra funny that the worst is my states capital. The problem is there weren't any industrialized nations in Eastern Europe when communism happened. The very least they weren't to the extent as the West. The majority of the people there had agricultural patriarchal upbringing.

And to be honest, they aren't all that based - just a couple days ago that faggot Lukashenko said he was proud of his "diverse" nation.
