Is it just me or are these people way more upset about Vic attending a con than they were about sabat and co. shutting down a vaccination site?

Well, all their accusations about Vic can easily be applied to Chris Sabat based on what we already know about him. Chuck Huber's affidavit has stated Sabat has a lot of power at Funimation. Since Funi has a lot of power over the anime convention scene you can see why they weren't as upset about Sabat.
Because even though they claim Vic had a lot of power in the industry, the reality is that it's Sabat who has that.
