This verdict is fucking insanity. The fact that it only took the jury 10 hours to decide means they were leaning toward guilty before they even started deliberating. Chauvin was fucked before he even first set foot inside that courtroom. He'll now mostly likely spend the rest of his life in solitary because the chances of him getting shanked by some lifer with nothing to lose are astronomical.

Urban areas are doomed. If the cops have any sense they'll just show up to shovel up the bodies after most incidents now. Every criminal that is being arrested has the magic words: "i can't breathe". to stop the process.

I know most Kiwis with sense already know this but get to a rural area as soon as possible. Cities and even the suburbs are going to turn into utter hellholes right quick.

Its too late to prepare. Just like a hurricane a person either got what they need to move out of the way or they re dammned to get blown away

Agree, it's a good book. I also recommend "Feeding the German Eagle" by E. Ericson. This book will ass-blast both tankies and nazis (tl;dr: Without Stalin's help the WWII would be over by 1941).
And as a side note, I had a blast reading this true and honest encyclopedia for children named "Our Soviet Motherland", a wonderful book where no man-made famine in the 30s and 40s was mentioned, Baltic countries were eager to join USSR, "Finnish militarists backed by Anglo-French and German capital" attacked first, Trotsky was a traitor from the very beginning of the Revolution and dear Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev somehow played an important role in the Great Patriotic War. After reading books like this it's easy to understand why the Left want to control the narrative so desperately.

Its the same exact updoot/downdoot system there as it is here. People see a post they disagree with and instead of engaging with that person they simply leave a downvote and move on. If you need the dopamine hits from seeing internet strangers agree with your post then I hate to break it to you but you belong on reddit

And yet when I make posts that go against the grain I get the same sort of feedback as on reddit. Tons of downvotes but barely anyone making the effort to point out why I’m wrong. I dont give a fuck if you agree or disagree with my post, just tell me why.

All of this dooming is silly. My family got trapped in a building on a street fires were set and fireman were driven back, and even they, or I, aren't this doomy Coomy.

You can analyze this from some Sargonnian Culture War Battleground and whinge about the 5 feet of lost ground, but y'all seem to forget that 90% of people aren't as autistic and won't do shit until it's in their backyard. And when it is politics won't matter. When this "riot tidal wave" or whatever begins the normals will rise up and shit fury. And as soon as the media sense the change they will flip. These shitty cities are quarantine zones for a reason. You don't listen to gunshots every day and night and then leave cause "oh no black people got violent". Even in my tiny ass town, with one big street with all the stores, the real damage stopped at the street that divided the white stores and the black stores. It's an unspoken law.

To put this into context, when the riots began, we began making calls, and my father, who wasn't the one trapped, told me to stop being a paranoid rightwing faggot and that nothing I was saying was true. Today he says he thinks all the people involved should have been shot and scoffs at the "peaceful protest" description.

I'd rather have a thread full of Hulk Hogan and Dyn than people acting like any of this really matters. Instead I got both. FUg.
