Nobody assured this would be a massive victory for Vic.
Nick have been saying from the very begining that the result of a lawsuit is never a forgone conclusion.
Everyone saying otherwise is either a liar or a fool. Which one are you?

EDIT: Also, Nick doesn't get money from the GFM... Anyone thinking he does is dumb...

I didn’t want to give trolls attention, but this has to be the most tone deaf thing I’ve read today... and I’ve been watching the trolls gaslighting Sacanime.
Fans didn’t donate because they knew it would be a win. Fans donated because they believed Vic was done dirty and deserved the chance to defend himself from having his career tanked.

Law isn’t perfect. Not by a long shot, and people can manipulate rules and loopholes as the day is long. Take for example TCPA being abused the way it was.
The fans weren’t giving the money to Nick. They are very aware Nick is the one who organized it and not it’s benefactor.
It’s quite plain to see if you use your good eyes.

Fans gave because they believe in Vic (and still do!)

It's possible, but to be fair, SacAnime's tweet was also getting universally negative replies and their FaceBook post received decisively mixed comments, so they probably removed the tweet and post due to the reception they were getting. I don't want to sound overly optimistic, but that's a possibility.
