I was born in Africa. My current father adopted me. He brought me over the united states. Im a hybrid of white, black and Indian (dot not feather).
I grew up in a small town in Virginia where Everyone else was white. Everyone treated me ok but my uncle. It took a bit to get his racist ass to respect me.

So culturally Im white. Then I left town for work and all the white people treat me like Im black. Tall down to me like im a toddler. The black people hate me cause compared to them im white. So just that alone both sides hate me.

It seems america is obsessed with putting people into a classification. Either ya gay ir straight. Black or white. Atheist or Christian.
Its an urge borne out of needing to control every fucking thing and every body. So them seeing a chimera like me makes them fucking lose it.

Because of this pathological need to impose an identity on me its gotten a little off kilter.

Its also gotten the weirdos and jerks on all sides to fuck with me endlessly.
Because this I really dont have any love for anyone outside my home town. Nor for this country except out of necessity. In that regard Im very much like its a mori.

Maybe if things gotten super duper exciting for those needing to impose an idenity on me (and also their will along with it) and their need to meddle in my home town affairs then they leave me alone.

Whatever Tldr. Basically due to how and what I am I have a love hate relationship with America. While I do enjoy a good urban Bon fire it also makes me feel bad cause I hate seeing bad things happen to a good nation which took me in.

It sucks you had to deal with some suck.

Trying to think of what bird would let you get that close before taking wing. Teal can be a real bitch to hunt because they're on the small side, fast and when they take wing they fly UP, very sharply. (the teal stand in Sporting Clays was generally the stand I did poorest at)

I brought a knife to school once. It was my Boy Scout knife. Got taken away and either given to me on the way home or my parents had to come get it.

This was the 80s though, also a time when kids in high school still had rifle racks in their pickups and, during hunting season, rifles.

I stabbed a kid in grade school and I just got suspended for a week.
