Hah, this reminds me of that time I got permanentely banned from twitch. I did nothing wrong I did everything correct. I think this mental site was at least indirectly responsible somehow. Not Counting that time someone robbed me beat me up and almost killed me. I find this kind of amusing for no reason.

you are absolutely out of your god damn mind.

you could argue phil is a "successful" con artist. that doesn't make him a good one. yandere dev is a "successful" game developer. he lives off making a game. he sure as fuck isn't a good developer.
Bro, the wrestlemen? The retarded wife? The bad gameplay? The begging videos? All 4D chess. It's like the end of Scary Movie when Doofy stops walking like a hanidcapped person and it slowly morphs into a suave stroll. We're all being played!

I come with info.

It seems the report from PWDubz started a fire, but the house burned down today when he admitted on his prestream that he sends people out across Twitch to stalk his followers.

It's permanent, they will not revoke this decision.
lol if true. Getting departnered for something so stupid.
So apparently for twitch saying fundraiser is not allowed but feigning distress saying that you won't be able to afford groceries is ok. He just said that twitch told him he can't beg on twitch asking for bits and subs but he can do it with tips so that's why this mother fucker asks for tips so much, he wouldn't be able to hardcore beg if it wasn't for tips.
Yeah.......I'm sure twitch said it's more than OK to beg for something they get $0 cut from.

I love how literally the only time he's admitting earning thousands of dollars per month through Twitch (and not banning people on sight when they mention it in his chat), is when he uses it for a sob story about losing the revenue stream of said thousands of dollars.

But you said everyone that figured out your thousands was wrong...........

I'm not sure, according to Twitch's policy it only applies to those who "interact/receive/buy" bits, so without the contract DSP may be safe to equate bits with money.

It's not entirely clear because of how they worded it, but in the end it's on Twitch's hand to act upon it if they feel like or not.

Fair enough.
I'm only an occasional Phil follower. Assuming this ban sticks, how screwed is Phil, realistically?

Also, what's the thing about not talking about bits in relation to money? They're not allowed to say how much of a cut Twitch gets compared to the streamer? Is this some "they're not funbux because Jeff Bezos says they're not" type of thing?
He makes somewhere around $3-5k from bits and subs. His whales will undoubtedly tip more to make up for that loss, if it actually sticks, but the subs in particular are damn near passive income if a person doesn't use their Prime for it.
This guy just realised that he lost his Twitch partnership and his reaction is to nervously chuckle?

THIS NIGGA IS LYING!
I posted a link where you can see a person's partner status. He is currently not flagged as a partner or affiliate. That doesn't mean he won't get it back, though.

/v/ seems to think it was Phil mentioning corporations posting about the Chauvin/Floyd shit on Twitter. They have people to watch you on other sites, so that could be it.
That seems highly plausible. These are dangerous times for free thought and speech. Not a fan of DSP by any means, but it would suck for all of us if this was the reason he got shit canned.

Twitch have made a smart move, he should have been banned. Instead they have hit him in the only thing he cares about..... his wallet.

They are dangling him on a string by allowing him to continue streaming. It's almost as if a farms member got a job at Twitch.

so is todd howard, your point? his point was that dsp was a shill, your point is that yanderedev is a shill, my point is that todd is a shill and you can bet a nigger can make a star citizen shill point.

shills conning people from time to time is nothing new.

/v/ thinks alot of things and does many theories. however i don't think twitch will disclose it and definitely won't tell DSP at the moment since he can try to farm points for that.

My pet theory is that it's from his tweet about Chauvin getting attention from corporations, but it's most likely begging-related or viewer harassment (e.g. the PWDubz event; this week's "If you're being negative in other chats, you're not welcome here"). I personally hope we never find out, and DSP just has to accept it like with StreamLabs.
I've worried for awhile that DSP will get his comeuppance for doing/saying something mundane that happens to bother the pc police instead of the many shitty things he actually does. Kinda doubt its the case here because hes never gotten reprimanded for an opinion before just shitty jokes and bullying.

what the fuck are you talking about? his point was that Phil is intelligent and a *good* con artist. My point is that he is neither. The man is equating being successful at something as being good at it.

because i'm sure no one here can name anyone that they know personally who is successful while being shit at their job, right?
