Frankly, the community is just full of multiple pockets of differing opinions. Everyone says it’s battlefield vs. call of duty but if anything it’s call of duty vs call of duty.

In classic Warzone fashion, they decided to make the destruction of verdansk a two hour event with 60+ minute wait times to join. lmfao at least I'm hearing all it is is Zombie royale during daytime.

Got on like a half hour ago and got in just fine. It was dumb chaotic fun. Actually thought they conveyed the feeling of it being the end with the constant cold war zombie theme and the constant scorestreaks going off pretty well.
IMO this whole outbreak event would have been better if they had the whole respawning as a zombie thing last longer than a week.

I'm sure the people bitching about the live action commercial are the same people who claim Modern Warfare 2 was the best even though they were 5 years old when it came out.
Edit: Jesus Christ, COD fans really are retarded. My team wouldn't shut the fuck up about how it makes no sense how a nuke sent us back in time after we finished Part 2 and deployed in the new map. Like they literally wouldn't stop asking "Why are we in the 80's?" and I finally plugged in my mic to explain to them that is when Cold War takes place and they were just like "No dude, this is Modern Warfare not Cold War."

funny enough, literally every single person i've played with since the 2nd part of the event has had nothing but nice things to say about the map. it's amazing how much people who aren't hardcore fanatics seem to enjoy it.

Activision just merging Modern Warfare with Cold War isn't helping matters anyway. Well, Warzone (MW) and the base game of Cold War.

It hasn't helped or hindered in anyway. Warzone was just as shitty before Cold War than it is after Cold War. Just look at most of the complaints these people make.
- Cold War ruined the meta, when everyone complained about the meta before Cold War.
-There was a balance before Cold War integration, as if balance isn't thrown off with every update and content addition. The idea that Warzone would just stop having content updates after 9-10 months is as laughable as the idea that these retards who constantly need updates and new content would have been happy with that.
-"Cold War made the game goofy instead of gritty/realistic" as if anime/pot leaf skins, nerf gun looking blueprints and Jigsaw/Leatherface being in the game totally didn't happen before Cold War.
Honestly, even the complaints about how this event will negatively effect the story of Modern Warfare 2 are pretty overblown I think. It really feels like the Zombie stuff is either just going to be handwaved away or barely even mentioned at all with how much of a thrown together last minute thing it was.

Really glad they have Rebirth Verdansk now, very fun. Hope they keep it permanently. Resurgence Rebirth Island really kept me going these past few months as regular BR was nearly unplayable due to weapon balance issues and ever-present hackers.
And I must say I like the new (old) Verdansk map.

Yeah after playing it for about a week the lighting changes, DLSS support, some redone areas , and new areas were actually not that bad as people have said. On top of that Raven seem to patching faster now which is a nice bonus. The meta is not fucking annoying to play either since you can use almost whatever you want now.
Really hope they finally fixed the bugs with armored royale thats is one of Warzones best modes.
