That isn't hard, varicella vaccine came out in the late 90s. It's also common that if a kid gets infected by a weak strain of chickenpox they can actually get it again (one of my neighbors daughter technically had chickenpox on 4 separate occasions but the first 3 were weak strains).
Depends on the vaccine. The HPV vaccine has had lawsuits and has had to pay out. It's part of the reason Pfizer, Moderna, and others tried to get the government to waive accountability. I also wonder if it is proven to be harmful that the companies can be sued at a later date.

Not going to lie, I was thinking the exact same thing. I find it sus that medicines that went through much more rigorous trials that the covid jab have the backing of the FDA can theoretically be sued but covid jabs are all under emergency use and don't bare any responsibility from possible side effects.

I got chickenpox back in '93 when I was 5. I don't remember feeling all that sick, just a bit itchy with a bunch of red dots on my stomach. Then again, I was never one to complain about being sick. Is Chickenpox really bad?
Part of me wants this to be a thing if only because I hate that people use July 4th as an excuse to get drunk and shove burgers in their face despite not knowing anything about what has made America special.
