If we get the worst case scenario you'll see armed gangs of vigilantes that merge with existing gangs from the streets or the prisons and militia groups from the woods that the /k/ommandos like to live in. It's not going to be fun for those of us who don't like the idea of having to pay tribute to one gang to be protected from another gang.

Hopefully though, we'll just see a few decades of high crime and low trust that eventually leads to the election of leaders that are willing to put their collective foot down on those segments of society that just want rob, burn, rape, loot and murder, and thusly enforce the civil order that society needs to function by cracking down on the criminal element.

Well, reading through the highlights shows me that fuck all has happened so far. Good for business owners I guess, they deserve a break after the double dicking they got from lockdowns and riots last year. I do derive entertainment from seeing chimpouts, but this is basically the best possible outcome for the short-term. Keeps the frog boiling a little longer, but hey, that's a problem for future Americans.

A part of me suspects that BLM and Antifas leadership, because obviously someone is calling the shots there, has realized that mindless rioting turns more people against them and fucks with the grift. Now they're focusing on the threat of rioting, since they have last year to point to all they have to do is gather around a bit and the crusty whiteys in charge shit themselves and cave to their demands. I think you might be right on that looking at the stimulus. They still have one left for the debt limit. The stimulus used up this year's spending and revenue reconciliation bills.

I think the prosecution made no attempts to seriously fight for a conviction and they thought it would be a slam dunk. I guess that gave people hope he would get acquitted till Maxine Waters flew all the way from DC to make sure the plebs in flyover land of a 1000 polluted lakes voted right.
