I actually did the :story: pose watching the start of this, where we open focused on his gut packed into a dumb pink t-shirt I'm sure he thinks makes him look wacky; then he complains about being too low on camera and his posture; then he gets up to go get his fucking slippers.

The whole time I'm thinking 'why wouldn't you cut this out in editing' then he does cut to the proper start of the video, leaving me to assume this was all left in because he thought it was funny.

I continue to be baffled as to why anyone supports this man.

The changing attitudes about McDonald's is really ironic, there was a time in which McDonald's was the Great Satan to lefties like Quinton, but while he addresses Super Size Me he does so in a really dismissive way.

Seems like the left just accepted that eating all organic, free range etc food is just what you do if you're like them and stopped browbeating everyone else about it.

The fact that they show such sheer indifference to things that used to greatly piss them off is probably a good sign they'll get bored with their current hobby horses as well.

Tried listening to Q's McDonalds vid but couldnt get through the 10 minute mark. Usually these kinds of video are fine listening to in the car for background noise but Q is so boring introducing the topic I had to switch back to music. Which is sad considering themed McDonald's are an interesting topic and he didn't need to make a video avout the closed one's cause he could've combined with the travel one. But I understand playing the dum YT game. But to make a legitimatly emtertaining video it should be around 20-30 minutes. Show him going to places with some B-roll footage and narration over it unless he's actually doing something he could only do at the location. Then do a quick rundown of the closed one's describing it to the info he has gathered. Then wrap it up with a quick closing statememt. I'm just tired of fluff content and real meat like that would be really welcome. I think he would be financially rewarded in the long run for trying too.

Chris actually has an associates degree in it, does Q even have a degree?
He graduated Woodford County high school and went to YouTube University, will soon graduate with a Major in Performative Feminism and LGBT rights.

All it took for Quinton to go over 900 patrons was a shitty McDonald's video. Some people really like being scammed.

Making a bold bet. This, alongside iCarly and Bigfoot are slowly becoming his own 'Spoony Movie'.

I can see it more like Linkara, with his famous "IT WILL BE OUT WHEN ITS OUT."

"I KNOW WE HIT THE LIMIT FOR ME TO DO THEM, BUT THOSE THINGS TAKE TIME, NOW SHUT UP AND LET ME TALK ABOUT GARFIELD AND MCDONALDS, WHILE MOCKING OTHER YOUTUBERS!!""

That's an insult to the spoony movie because he had some talent to begin with

Isn't there a big movement about how devastating beef farming is for the environment? McDonalds probably contributes a lot to that.

There was, but the left as a whole doesn't really seem to care much anymore, if it's not race or gender related, they don't really give a shit.

The left seems to flip flop back and forth between environmentalism and identity politics being their main focus.

A perfect example of how they went full circle is Margaret Atwood, she went from writing the Handmaid's Tale in the 1980s which was commentary on the Religious Right, women's rights, feminism etc, then in 2003 she published Oryx and Crake with dealt with things like the idea people had that McNuggets are not actual chicken, genetically modified organisms, a depleted Earth's environment and so on.

But what did she go back to writing in recent years? A sequel to the Handmaid's Tale, everything old is new again!

Back around 2004 a lefty like Quinton would not have been caught dead wearing a McDonald's jacket and unironically thinking it's cool, it really is funnily ironic, but part of the reason for that change is something Quinton addresses in the video and that's McDonald's goes for an "older" image these days, they've stopped marketing so directly at kids, it was easier to paint them as sinister villains when they so directly targeted kids (aka an audience more easily susceptible to advertising) during peak Ronald McDonald, McDonald's Play Land era but now that all of that all shit is safely in a long bygone era of the past, it's ok for people to wax nostalgic about it.

And like I said, if you're an urban lefty with the money to spare, you're all about the free range farm to table stuff, they just moved on to that's just something you do if you want to do it and stopped trying to browbeat middle America into living like that so much.

It actually is really funny to look back at just how big a fucking deal the topic of food, not just fast food, but food in general was as a political topic back in the 2000s, with a million different documentaries about it, but now they just don't give a single shit, it is possible that they'll one day go back to obsessing over environmentalism again sometime in the future, but for now environmentalists are a niche thing that the main spotlight isn't on at the moment.

And like I said, I feel like there's a message for us today there, that for as big of a fucking deal as the left makes something out to be, it doesn't mean that they won't still one day basically forget about it.

I think a big reason why they forgot about their hobby horses of the 2000s is the election of Obama made them "feel" like they were solved issues, even if they weren't, but the left is all about the surface level and not the deeper reality and they felt like the 2000s was a battle they "won" thanks to Obama so they just moved on to other things over the course of the Obama era often being directly informed by Obama being President, hence the great big race obsession.

Corporations are cool and wholesome now because they totally care about social issues! They change their profile pictures on social media to the rainbow flag during pride month and also say that racism is not cool! There's nothing to criticize them about, so just consooom and shut up.

That's what it comes down to, corporations have been very clever with their marketing in recent years and have turned what was once their greatest critics into their greatest allies.

Like I said, the left only really cares about surface level shit, they want to "feel" like everything is ok, they don't give a single solitary shit about messy reality, so long as they "feel" everything is ok then it's ok and they react with hostility towards anyone that tries to rain on their parade.

The irony is things have gone full circle, a corporation like a McDonalds or a Wal-Mart used to create a real "'All American" vibe that those that leaned conservative felt was comforting back in the 1980s and 1990s because that's what would have been more profitable at the time, then the left freaked the fuck out about it all in the 2000s, causing the corporations to shift their focus towards creating a left wing friendly message and vibe and now they're the ones that feel comforted while middle America and conservative America is left out in the cold, but we're back to mainstream American culture generally being pretty trusting of corporate America as opposed to the hostility of the 2000s.

There is your answer.

Has Q ever got caleb back for another video or just the shitty NC parody he did? I remember Caleb leaving was supposed to be sorta temporary and im starting to think caleb was the only thing keeping Q in place and not going off the deep end.
Caleb retired from the channel because he joined the Army. Whether he is still there is up for speculation. He has since appeared a handful of times, so frenship remains.

Quinton claimed on the first Q&A Caleb lives two hours from him. If he was still in the Army, there is a good possibility it was Louisville.

im gonna go ahead and call a bit of bullshit on the "Caleb lives two hours away" From where Q lives to Louisville is at most a hour 30 , probably less if he uses a gps or isn't a dipshit.
Sucks he retired though hes pretty funny and isnt a insufferable oaf.

How is it that I’m already for sure certain that this artist has pronouns on their Twitter bio description?

"I KNOW WE HIT THE LIMIT FOR ME TO DO THEM, BUT THOSE THINGS TAKE TIME, NOW SHUT UP AND LET ME TALK ABOUT GARFIELD AND MCDONALDS, WHILE MOCKING OTHER YOUTUBERS!!""
@Woke Blue Muttlema should change this thread description to this at this point. I’m not sure “MovieBob, a chaser with a gay lisp” sounds effective, in my opinion.
