You don't "ask for citizenship", as the overgrown potato would suggest. It costs money, time, paperwork, testing, etc. There are any number of legitimate or illegitimate reasons that someone would remain a permanent resident rather than go through the process to get citizenship. 11 years is a long time, but if King Tut's immediate concerns are fat bitches and drugs, it's easy to see how immigration paperwork could fall by the wayside.To all Canadians here , can anybody confirm this ?
