I don't recall which stream... There have been way too many...but it was after Mr Egypt came into the picture. My understanding of what she said at the time was that the family weren't socialising at the time, which would be Covid lockdown related, or at least the Covid excuse would be being thrown out there. We know from what she's said recently that she chats with her grandmother, and we've heard her talk about Nat messaging her about the criticism the family has copped on social media. If her family were going to cut her off, they would have done so a long time ago, instead they just tolerate her presence occasionally.

He's currently working in some form of Construction which is a normal standardized hour industry. However, as I mentioned in an earlier post, she sucks at follow up questions to get more details.. construction can be a lot of things, though the hours are usually 7:00 AM to 3:00-4:00 PM type ranges. I think she means 9-5 as being a routine work week because she's vapid.

Though, there are chefs and cooks that can work 9-5 depending on the place they are working at. Not as common as lunch and dinner establishments, but they do exist such and also can be a shift thing and if he's really a "Head Chef" level which coming from Chantal, can be a range of things, not just an Executive Chef.

She’s an addict. There has always been the food, then came YT, then the livestreams, then the drugs, then Tinder. There are other things I didn’t list but, the point being, there is always something AND we get to witness it because of social media. She can’t NOT have attention.

I can’t see her staying quiet like this unless there’s something, you know?

I've been pretty outspoken on my belief that she's making most, if not all, of this up. I don't know if I fully believe there isn't a guy anymore but I also know my default reaction is to not trust a word Chantal says because she lies so effortlessly.

If there is something going on, it's likely not how she's portraying it, as she's likely exaggerating and fabricating whole storylines at this point.

As for Chantal going quiet, it does fit her MO. She's done it multiple times in the past where she's backed herself into a corner and struggles finding a way out, so she goes radio silence for a few days before returning with some sob story about a medical episode or a level of self-reflection where she's adamant about changing her ways.

It provides a distraction so that she can move to something else without fully having to explain the issue that caused her to go quiet in the first place (whether a failed diet, lying about being vegan, claiming to be diabetic and then not...).

So, we'll see.

I do find it interesting that the crazy has been ramped up ever since her live meet with that Italian guy. I think she fell for him and he didn't have similar feelings and now she's in 'make him utterly jealous' mode.

It was before Mr. Egypt. She made the comment about not seeing her family now in reference to Easter. It was either on Easter (the night she got groped by nicolas) or the next day. The day before the great easter grope was the day she dressed in a mother of the bride dress to get her car washed live (probably in preparation for the car grope), during which she snottily mimicked her sister supposedly saying "a lot of people are talking shit about you, and me, and they're talking shit about mom..." (I'm not really sure that conversation happened because it's a typical chantal lie, I doubt her family gaf). She was on speaking terms with her family on her birthday weekend because she has pics on her IG of her having cake at her moms, and mentioned her step-father called her the day after her birthday because she said she'd be too busy on her birthday.

TL;DR: When she said she wasn't seeing her family "now" she meant on easter, because of covid.

ETA: I think mr egypt is real, but all the details are lies. He's probably just a run of the mill lowlife who engages in low life activities and trawls tinder for easy fucks. I doubt he's obsessed with chantal as she claims, and the stories about him having that woman there, or the drunk friend there, my assumption is that chantal invited herself over those nights, and he already had plans, or didn't care if friends showed up because he wasn't that into chantal anyway. If she was angry or not, he knew he'd still get laid at the end of the night.

It's happened again, since Mr Egypt came into the storyline, and was worded in a way that it could have been taken as they were now estranged either by choice or by lockdown. It was something along the lines of we aren't seeing each other now. Not surprising given the Covid lockdown in Ontario. Even though she was driving to Cornwall everyday for her walks, there was no social media suggesting that she was seeing Mama Sarault... plus she discovered she could actually do her own toenails.
