To be honest, with how the cops are handling this - They probably did fuck up and it was a bad warrant or something. Regardless, it blows my mind even with the news blasting every two seconds "COPS GENOCIDE BLACK PEOPLE AMASS WITH ROCKET LAUNCHERS NONSTOP" that niggas are still dumb enough to try and run for the most retarded shit of all time instead of just getting arrested and trying to use the system to file a complaint or damage compensation.

Really speaks volumes about black people and long-term planning.

The system hate competent persons that get legal representation at least for low level stuff. An ADA I know would just decide not to charge if you show up with a lawyer. In his mind it was easier fighting a public defender than someone with good legal counsel.

A few times, where the suspect contacted the attorney immediately, he would get calls from their attorney inviting him to discuss the case (as he was the charging ADA) , over lunch at steakhouse. Their was even before the officers report had reached the ADAs desk. Of course, once the case was received he would need to have another meeting the the guys attorney over lunch. We're not talking about cheap lunches either more like in the $100 to $150 per person.

Such a "trick" not only got the ADA to view the client account before the cops but showed the ADA that if he wanted to press charges the client had enough financial resources to make an the uphill fight. In such a case, the ADA just wants to keep his conviction rate up.

The problem with this is that while I agree with you, if you live in a city/state dumb enough to implement optional arrest motive laws, then their DA will absolutely be sadistic enough to prosecute homeowners defending their property from would-be rioters looking for a good time. It wouldn't be any different from the McCloskeys getting grilled just for vaguely pointing a gun in the direction of trespassers.

I'm not entirely sure what optional arrest motive laws would look like in practice, but the thing is, what reason does anyone have not to resist police if some people can and do get away with resisting arrest in these urban areas? If things get so bad that people can riot and burn things, rob, steal, kill, rape, etc, as they deem fit, and the police will be prohibited from stopping them, what the local DA wants will count for all of jack and shit because the local homeowners will be under the protection of gangs and/or militias who are more then willing to prevent arrests from ever happening in the first place. At that point, the only thing that will restore the order that existed previously will be blatant military force.

How is that track supposed to have been left by a car?. If the beemer has an open diff, which i dont think it does, then I can see one rear spinning up and leaving that mark but there should be a track of compressed grass left by the other rear. The rears would not have followed the fronts so there really should be 3-4 tracks visible. If that beemer has an limited slip diff then there would be 2 wheelspin tracks.

Driving away from cops is a real puzzler.

So you’re already getting pulled over, why turn a fine into an arrest? If you’re already getting arrested for some bullshit, why turn a month in jail into a decade in prison? If you’re getting pulled over and arrested and you’re a felon with a couple warrants and an illegal handgun down your pants, okay, that’s definitely gonna be a bad time, but at least you’re still alive, right?

And yet some people decide at every turn to make things worse for themselves, up to and including attacking the cop and then dying over it. I don’t know what’s going on. Panic? Drugs? Congenital stupidity? The adrenaline dump making you retarded? An erroneous belief that you can dominate the situation and make it all go away?

It's probably fight or flight. Same reason people don't shut up and get a lawyer after being arrested or questioned. The need to get out of or control the situation is so bad that it overrides what should be common sense: Stay calm, remain silent, and talk it over with your attorney, which you will get for free. You really do have to be TAUGHT this, unfortunately. You have to have a picture in your head of what comes next so you don't panic. If 90% of your experience with cops is that you never saw a family member again, you do not have a non-catastrophic picture in your head to go by. But the thing is, cops are begging you for a reason to be able to lower their voice and put their gun away.

I've accidentally not done what the cops asked me to do before, like pull over in the right place, but you just apologize and call them "sir" or "ma'am," and they will be grateful you aren't crazy. Same with a judge. Show up in clean clothes and act contrite, you'll probably get out of the ticket. It's a pain, but the courts deal with enough bullshit that a tiny bit of honesty and respect goes a long way. Just teaching these skills would be a great service to kids, but we can never admit that our actions direct how these situations turn out.

In my case, it just made me realize that I might go to jail anyway so I might as well thin the herd so there will be less of the enemy (rioters) going after everyone else.

I believe the other track is out of frame to the right, like you said it does seem to pick up on the other side of the van. it does look strange.

It's rather a good thing to remind people who think bringing harm to random civilians is an acceptable form of discourse that the 6-or-12 question is a no-brainer for 12. That isn’t a tire track, but I can’t tell what that is. There’s also that this happened after he got shot, which is totally what possibly happened here, he instinctively hit the gas to get out and away. Fact is he was shot in the back, multiple times. Officers really fucked up.
