I mean yeah, at this point it's kind of like 'we need to move on', but at the same time, the cultish suppression of information in the community makes the phrase 'Aloe is now Delta, go and support her new endeavour' almost impossible. People are hung up on her for many chuuni reasons, but you also can't really help them out of it unless they wander into a forum where any topic is fair game.

At this point, 8-9 months down the line, everyone who had been there when she graduated has now either found Delta, forgot about Aloe, or otherwise let go.

At the same time, being able to find her is almost a rite of passage in of itself. And it’s not like its terribly hard to do, though I only say that from the perspective of someone that did do exactly that. Search up Mano Aloe song covers, find her original song, track it back to her new character.

Finally, it only makes sense to not allow discussion of Delta on the Holo subreddit. After all, none of the CNs’ new characters are talked about there, neither are the graduated Holostars, nor Hitomi Chris. No longer a Holo, no longer on topic, as harsh as that sounds.

Imagine expecting people to search Delutaya's Pixiv Fanbox when she was still scared of doing a Public Stream

It's probably more likely for people to know now about Delu since she has at least made some public streams, but most of her post Aloe works are still locked behind fanbox

In what world that a company would promote other but themselves? Aloe/Delta might be ex employee but she’s no longer part of Holo, so why should she get all promotion? What about bottom tier talents like Akirose, Mel, Towa, etc. they should get priority vs an ex employee.

It's a shame that Amelia's Japanese is a bit lackluster, you just have to look through her Twitter likes to see that she actively looks up stuff outside of her "Generation" a lot. Calli is also worth mentioning. But Gura, Ina, and Kiara are roughly 90% EN or related to themselves in some way. I'm sticking to my original suspicions that she's probably the biggest weeb out of all of them.

I do hope we get more Ame collabs but looks like we won't be getting any this week (not sure what AmeTag is honestly).

At this point, I just tell people to look up Kokoro Rain Stop and go from there if they haven’t heard about her yet or just barley heard about the Aloe incident and want to at least see she’s rebounded. It’s the easiest way to spread it around. It’s like I’ve said before, it’s retarded to keep posting or mentioning her in every gen 5 thing, but it’s just as retarded to be a massive dick about it like you can’t mention or draw her at all. There’s a nice middle ground where you can sometimes spot clues in fan art or even just draw her every once in a while.

The circumstances of her leaving were so bad, there’s a reason she’s stuck around longer than Chris, CN left a bad tastes in everyone’s mouth once more info got out about most of them being CCP shills and holostars is not popular enough to have retired talents talked about as much. As weird as it seems considering she was only around for such a small period of time. IMO, leaving that middle ground is a good reminder to not let the other/future talents feel the need to fall into that having to be idol like and just be themselves. If they want to, then let them, but if not, then fuck off and go watch someone else.
