Since there are people saying Bardfinn has said they have never seen or known of any CP posted on reddit.
There's a thread where they say that:
"They also blamed me for someone posting child porn to their subreddits - child porn which remained up until Reddit's admins took the content down, because the "moderators" of those subreddits are not conscientious moderators..."
This seems to be Bardfinn admitting that they saw child porn posted and then watched it to see if the moderators removed it. Bardfinn did not message their subreddit moderators or even anonymously report the content. They watched the content enough to know that it "remained up" and had to be removed by administrators.
@Abyssal Bulwark - You have, in the op, the information about Bardfinn talking about incest. I think his literal defense of a pedophile teacher and his comments after the Aimee Challenor scandal are as important. They may have gotten lost in a large post but to revisit:
Before he called himself a woman, Bardfinn made a defense of a female teacher who had been charged with having sex with three male students. Among his various comments are:
"Because society is co-operative, not competitive, and negative consequences to one person have to be borne by us all?
Because
something we aren't aware of, happened to her that made her throw away what everyone else believed in her?
I don't know why you do or don't worry about other humans."
Notice how society is responsible for the pedo teacher. Something happened that made her that way, see...and if you don't sympathize with her, you don't "worry about other humans."
And it gets worse:
"Did she bring it all upon herself? Or are we trying a case in the media, absent all the facts and law, and therefore perpetuating misogynistic culture? Was she blackmailed? Was she abused as a child herself? Was she beaten by a partner who forced her to do these things? Was she coerced by the boys? Does she have a medical condition that destroyed her capacity for self-control?"
Maybe she was coerced by those boys? Maybe speculating that she's a horrible person is perpetuating a misogynist culture? Maybe she has a "medical condition"?
Steven's more able to be understanding towards this pedo teacher than he is to be understanding towards his own mother, who is literally providing him a place to live. Of course she was concerned that he shoplifted a card and a rose. She knows that he has no money. And she knows that if he gets popped again by the police, he may end up doing a long time in jail.
After the Challenor story broke, on againsthatesubreddits Bardfinn indicated that the admins did the right thing. But againsthatesubreddits also decided that the protest was done the wrong way and the person that organized it is a "clout chaser" and "transphobe." But on Contrapoints, Bardfinn told a different story: At the same time Bardfinn was mildly condemning Challenor on againsthatesubreddits, he was saying this on Contrapoints.
"The rules that were applied were rules that were developed to protect two Reddit employees -- who happen to also be women -- from having doxxers, misogynists, and harassers platform their operations on this site, and using this site to build and direct harassment campaigns at them.
We know this for a fact because we've
caught the people responsible for trying to organise these witchhunts, admitting publicly to doing so, multiple times..."
So, Bardfinn et al knew about Nekosune and Aimee. And since we know that Bardfinn reads Kiwifarms, they must have known that it wasn't just a "transphobic witchhunt"... it was people concerned that pedos were modding reddit and that reddit had hired a person who was wholly unsuitable to be an admin.
And the only thing that Bardfinn can talk about on Contrapoints is that the whole thing was a "transphobic witchhunt".
It makes perfect sense in retrospect. Bardfinn will dismiss concerns with his own reprehensible behavior on reddit and his lies and aggression and violent speech as a "transphobic witch-hunt." The fact that he's got assault, weapons, drug, wife-beating charges will be played off as a "transphobic witch hunt" and also probably "perpetuating a misogynistic culture" because he has a "medical condition" that makes him not responsible for his actions.
