Paris Lees is a dickhead but he is legitimately working class and grew up marginalised and disenfranchised. He was selling himself as rent boy in his teens and the man he assaulted was supposedly a John, who Paris and a mate were trying to ‘clip’ (ie take the money up front and then do a runner leaving the John blue balled).
I imagine that Paris, who left borstal, went to uni and managed to achieve some level of mainstream success without the privileges and old boys networks of Olly’s world would be pretty fucking insulted by Olly’s ‘sex work is work’ bullshit. Still not a woman tho!

it strikes me as weirdly poetic that Lees is more or less the current day equivalent of April Ashley, yet it’s Olly who desperately wishes to be.

No, I think it is a carefully crafted look and the fact that women's blazers exist at all is evidence of this trend. It is only trannies who believe that women have 2 speeds, caked on makeup and just rolling out of bed and putting no effort in. I don't think something being big and baggy makes it automatically more comfortable, and furthermore I don't really see women wearing basketball jerseys around so I don't think that's the priority. I think there's dozens of books written by women for women instructing them to do precisely what I am pointing out, how to "Lean In," how to emulate what they believe are male behaviors and trends to succeed in the office, and I think a lot of these retarded fashion trends are an extension of that. The tranny thing is funny cause it flips it around to where we are confronted with a male just doing a shitty job of emulating what they believe are Things Real Girls Do.

It’s bonkers isn’t it? But I suppose if you swallow down the lie that trans isn’t a manifestation of mental illness and the only thing that makes trans people unhinged/miserable is transphobia, then it’s only a hop skip and and a jump to believing that all mental health problems are caused by society and nothing will fix you except an antifa led revolution and fully automated luxury communism.
I think I must’ve heard about this phenomenon in theory via Bret Weinstein talking to Greg Lukianoff (co author of Coddling of the American Mind) but this is the first time I’ve seen someone actually say it outright, not just tweet something alluding to it.
Jordan Peterson might well sound like an angry cousin of Kermit the Frog, but he was right. People need to stop blaming some systemic bogey man for everything and make their own fucking beds, rather than waiting for Elon Musk to invent a self making bed to be manufactured and distributed by the government.

This is the same energy as women are jealous of dicks. Historically women started wearing men's clothes because it was illegal for women to wear trousers (France still had a law banning women wearing trouser until a couple of years). women dressed 'masculine as a form of protest against laws like no votes for women, anti lesbianism, work place rights and anti women laws. The most prominent were Marline Driedrich ( who was arrested in France for wearing a mans suit) and Katherine Hepburn ( walked around in her underpants because a director wouldn't let her wear pants/trousers). Before this women invented the bloomer a floppy pair of trousers that were worn on cycles, Women invented these to protest women being banned from using Bicycles and because they wanted the vote. Bloomer wearers were the first flurries into suffrage (feminism). Before that the likes of Mary Edwards was arrested for wearing a mans suit. (classed as an act of indecency). Then there are lesbians who adopted male fashions as another form of protest.
Later in the 1940s women starting wearing men's clothes for two reasons, comfort/because they were taking on the roles men left behind during the war and because of fabric rationing ( recycling old clothes).
So its not women want to emulate men it was a fight for women's rights. It was only into the 1980s when some women looked to copy men so they could get ahead in the workplace as workplaces, especially those in the business sector were boys clubs. The the 90s brought the laddette culture a counter to lad culture.
Today women wear 'masculine' clothes for comfort, most of these clothes like t shirts, jogging bottoms and trains are classed as unisex anyway
