Whenever anyone acknowledges they are into "SM" or "BDSM" , they are not necessarily identifying or aligning themselves with all of the core concepts (after all, switches who feel equally comfortable in both the dom and sub position are not the norm). I have never heard someone use the phrase "I am into BM" to denote being into bondage in a masochistic position (this is usually called being a rope bunny).
