They aren't teaching kids how to pleasure themselves, they're teaching them the same "don't punch Suzy for taking your toys" and "stranger danger" shit they've been teaching kids since the 80s.
Actual education on sexual safety and anatomical "your body may be going through some changes"-type material takes place in middle and high school.
Read into what you freak out about, 9 times out of 10, you'll find that the actual article is less alarm-worthy than the headline.
