Not really on-topic, but remember that "I wanted a disabled (but not TOO disabled) Chinese kid until they turned out to be disabled so I gave him back" lady? And the "I prefer my ethnic kids to my biological ones" celebrity. Who lets them adopt?

Because the hens that produce most eggs live in squalor and buying eggs from these factory farms puts money in the hands of the person who continues to allow the hens to live in dark, grassless, feces-covered tents. It has nothing to do with the egg itself. Also eggs for eating =/= embryos. Embryos are fertilized eggs. Chicken eggs are not fertilized. By your logic, a woman not getting pregnant every time she ovulates is murder.
Side note, chickens are also bred to produce far more eggs than they should, and taking the egg away immediately makes the hen produce more, which takes a lot of calcium (the shells are mostly calcium iirc, and hens can get all kinds of weird bone diseases from overproducing, which is profitable).

I think we agree to some degree here. But is being an unwanted child all that different from being a child with unfit, druggie parents? Same foster care system. Same neglect. The only difference is that an unwanted child probably has a better shot if they're adopted young, or just allowed to be adopted in general. But this problem won't be solved by an abortion ban.

Plus eating chicken and duck fetuses is actually a thing, it's called balut (they're dead first since they boil the eggs iirc). From the Philippines and other countries near there. Supposedly its actually pretty good if you can get over the gross factor.

Because sex is fun. Family member currently has a 7 week baby trespasser and it already has a heartbeat. Saying this thing has no right to life is quite strange. Not implying abortion should be banned. Prohibition is hardly the answer for anything.

You'r premise is wrong. All pregnancies are planned by people because they engage in the activity that creates it. At some sub conscious level everyone knows when exact there will be a baby, it's called the Dreyfus phenomena, named after Dreyfus street in Israeli (nazi) occupied Jerusalem, who's named after the French artillery officer Alfred Dreyfus, where people who recently fucked in the Israeli rape centre and walk down Dreyfus street get the uneasy and creeping feeling they just got somebody pregnant.
