I'm kind of getting a read that maybe you don't know what kids need developmentally at what age and that's okay. Children should be sleeping on their own, in their own beds well before they are toddlers. It's very typical for a 3 year old to have a nightmare and sleep with mom and dad for a night; it's not healthy for the child to be sleeping with their parents every night as a default.

Edit: Ultimately Tess is still a shit mother and everyone is right to criticize.

Plus Bowie has had a really unstable childhood. Multiple people coming in an out of his living situation (father, brother, slave nanny, weird Tranny Olly, maybe Johns), and he's moved apartments multiple times per year. He even had to share a toddler bunk bed with the junkie trannie.

Bowie is insecure and probably has has nightmares that his mother will abandon him in the middle of the night.

A normal 3 yr old should sleep in his own bed, but it would probably be best for Ollie to sleep with his mother for a while until he's comfortable and confident in a STABLE home.

One thing I will say is that in a lot of cultures it's pretty common for kids under 5 to sleep with their parents, and I slept with my parents when I was under 5. I'm managing to sleep on my own now. I don't really know enough to make an argument about pediatric health, though.

It's dumb to say it's unhealthy for a young child to sleep with their parents. It's often a culture-based decision, and thus totally normal within those cultures. How exactly is it unhealthy? Just because Tess does a thing doesn't automatically make it wrong and bad. I mean, close. But.

Tess also seems like the kind of person who puts the onus on Kindergarten teachers to teach kids manners, self-regulation, bathroom and hygiene habits, and routines as if those are all brand new information. If Bowie goes to a school with a certain population, that very well could be the norm.
