Republicans winning in the upcoming midterms is mostly based on the idea that presidents’ parties usually lose the midterms after their election. I suppose people get upset there’s not immediate change from the president and don’t vote for their party.
So doesn’t really matter if Biden has a scandal or not, he’ll just likely deal with Republicans winning.
