I don't know which is worse, the possibility that he wasted over a hundred grand on mobile games, or the possibility that it's a lot lower than that for gacha, and the rest is him being dumb with a dozen other things, like food. Stuff that wouldn't come up in bankruptcy records, and doesn't yield assets, it just vanishes without a trace.

IMO the problem with Phil isn't really what he spends his money on, but his priorities being completely retarded. He doesn't understand the importance of saving his money for his future.

It's like he actually wants to spend the rest of life working. It's okay to spend your money on luxuries, as long you first ensure that you've saved enough up. But this guy has no idea how to budget.

Any person with any concious thought would probably sit back and think that maybe they should try to save a bit of money after filing for bankruptcy. But not phil. He's still in constant finical trouble. If he hits his 200 dollars tips goal every stream for a year (We'll say that he does considering patreon, whales and youtube) he's making over 100k a year. Something aint adding up here phil. Your going to have a much harder time now hiding the greed even from your retarded "fans" bud.

Well, to be fair, it's not like Phil had a real gameplan to begin with, right?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember him saying that he'd "stream for ten more years" or something like that, then look for a job. By then, he'd be near his 50s. And what's he gonna do then? Live off of the retirement? There wouldn't be any money left to retire with. He'd be right back to where he started once the money dries out.

Chances are he'd either walk back on that idea and stream for bits for the rest of his life, or he goes through with it, and goes back to streaming anyways. He had no plan B. So yeah, he's going to be doing exactly what he's doing now. Had he have gotten a decent 9-5 job or something that guarantees actual monetary security, then this would be a non-issue for him.

But he didn't. So I hope you enjoy old man Phil wearing vests and flopping around like a retard for bits and cheers.

he literally expects to walk into microsoft HQ and be handed a high level job

maybe his plan was to inherit his parents money in 10 years, assuming he doesn't die before they do.
edit: what if phil has a secret 3 million dollar life insurance policy on his parents or something?

Looks like at some point Arnold Schwarzenegger was one of Scopely's shareholders.

Stats tracking is back on the official site, looks like he didn't miss a day after all

That staying up until 2am paying his bills has worked off, since he now has a 5 star HHH.

Last time I checked was on the 12th, since then

Roster size +5
5 star +2
4 star +4
3 star -1

So all his new additions are 4 or 5 star, which someone with more knowledge of the game can explain but can't come cheap. Oddly the total number of battles has fallen by about 500, which I assume is a glitch.

The departnering certainly screwed with his routine:

But all that really means is he's back to the same 30 day average as he was a month ago. The more time goes by with all his money being deposited in his gambling-funds-only PayPal, the harder it will be for him to resist spending it. Only time will tell.

In addition, over the course of the past month he's added another 4 five star wrestlers to his roster, which again I think is the most money-intensive part of the game, due to the number of pulls required to get all the pieces needed to promote a wrestler to that level.

Thoughts on why it was so high from the third of April to the eighteenth? Was there an event going on?

That is not a glitch, the name "Total Battles (All Time)" is deceptive.

You checked the website on the 12th, that was at around 50,911 and now it's at 50,482. That's because it doesn't measure all the battles that he's ever had on the game, it's just for a specific amount of time. I suspect it's for about a year, so if you do 50,911/365 it's about 139 battles per day.

This just means the website rolls over that period of time and calculates within that scope, which can lead to a decrease in """Total Battles""".

I'm picturing Khet crying in the kitchen due to the lost partnership and Phil sitting in the sofa rocking back and forth playing WWE Champions.
