if Kat left you would be able to easily see his facial expressions freak out if you mention her, but he's just mostly normal in that regard last time I checked

You bring up John and have Phil look at videos with him involved and you just see a man that looks like his friend just died, and you even bring up Pandalee and this man avoids it like the plague, but Kat is just business as always (i.e. Kat is making mushroom egg soup casserole salad for the 6th time this week it's delicious blah blah blah)

Not to mention that his begging would be turned up to 11 if Kat was gone, talking about losing a second stream of income, how he doesn't have time to do x,y, and z for the streams or patreon because he has to make breakfast, lunch, dinner, and every chore under the sun, and let's be frank: DSP would not be the one keeping Jasper. If DSP was a pet person, he'd have some type of pet throughout the last decade but he didn't.

I can somewhat buy the argument that Kat and DSP aren't really as close as a married couple would typically be, or even that Kat and DSP sleep in different beds and shit lol, but I think once you start to make the argument that Kat just isn't there I think you've lost the plot a little bit (and obviously I'm not saying this specifically about OP, I've seen this theory a few times already)

Now the last thing I'd like to mention before I'm hit with TMI is that Kat doesn't want to be on the streams and knowing how whipped Phil is, he wouldn't dare suggest otherwise. This man's political philosophy about the economy and whatever the fuck else has changed because of Kat. Him acting like anything even remotely sexual is an unforgivable sin is because of Kat. DSP calls this bitch "mom." Little bit of a stretch here but mothers are figures of authority and that may be partially why DSP views her as such, but nonetheless, DSP is under the control of Kat and it's really clear of that.

edit: also DSP's expression when Kat came into the room when the bankruptcy people showed up to his house, looked like a total sub there...if anybody got that clip that'd be great to post btw (hint hint)

I’ll add to your thunk parade, by even saying maybe all this stuff Kat is doing (having a part time, casseroles upon more casseroles(( I think she was into African drum music at one time)) is all a ploy to irritate and annoy Phil into filing for divorce. That way she stakes claim to assets , it would also prove why he’s squeamish to video game sex and sexual references because she can construe that to being adulterous behavior in her divorce papers.
Sorry for the speculations it just doesn’t add up to what a married couple is and how people who claim to be in love or soulmates act.

yea I'm editing it, but I did have a look at IGN's review as I gathered footage for the video and such and man...Phil's movement is so clunky to say the least. Like even the IGN guy I looked at really quickly seemed to grasp the fluidity of the movement and how dashing can be incorporated into the game. DSP plays this game like a goddamn tank.

Oh ok I understand now. Yeah I saw another streamer play it and its like a 3D Bullet Hell Shooter like Radiant Silvergun or Enter the Gungeon. No way Phil will like this game later on, especially when you need timing, precision, and agility to beat some of the bosses. If he thought Ghouls n Goblins was tough then this game is going to make him rage quit and make him its bitch. Cant wait until he says fuck the developers and anyone who thought this would be a fun game to play.

No joke, I work part time for renaissance fairs or private parties as a juggler/stilt walker or ballon twister.

Someone said a while ago that Phil is your basic suburban mall rat who grew up in the same area he always lived as a kid and young adult and never branched out of his comfort zone (those crazy stories he's told over the years are exaggerated as fuck, calling him a king of hyperbole is an understatement, maybe even an
emperor).

He's never experienced an entirely different culture or customs in any major capacity since he's never travelled overseas, he's never bothered to educate himself on any major interest or dedicated himself to another hobby that he's not used to (so no, not gaming), he's been able to maintain an upkeep of his lifestyle that has never seen any serious changes and fully embraces consumerism and market capitalisim (all the technology he buys, all the fast food he buys, all the fancy homeware and other expensive goods he sees when he goes shopping on that shopping trip that apparently takes an entire day).

So he is essentially nothing particularly fascinating (ironic I know, but in a normie sense of things) as a person and has an undeveloped mentality about his attitude to anything completely unfamiliar or new to him.

There are thousands of Americans probably worse then him that's for sure, but it's still laughable for us though.

Phil is never more honest than when he says things that completely undercut his already less than convincing assertions about himself. Like in those old vlogs of his posted yesterday, where he is talking about his new condo, he couldn't make it any more obvious how stupid, ignorant, and immature he really is. But more importantly, he had no idea he was displaying those characteristics. I dare say the reason he stopped doing vlogs was because he figured it out finally. It was either that or work on actually being the guy he tries feebly to pretend he is, and we know how that goes with the pigroach.

The comments you're referring to are a product of Phil's true nature colliding with both his laziness and his incessant need to play pretend. He wouldn't know a damn thing about what "fancy" really is, and doesn't want to either because that would take effort, but he wants people to think otherwise, so he says stupid shit like that. Like a dumb child, his refusal to put even a modicum of work into things does not factor into his expectations, and his stubbornness is off the charts. You and I do not throw a fit if we don't win in something when we didn't prepare for it. Phil does. Every fucking time. No amount of being made fun of for being a simpleton is ever going to make such comments about food stop. He might stop saying it on camera, but those opinions will remain.
