Here is 2020 in full.

As long as Conrad appears in as many KHANTEHNT videos as Nate, namely zero, I assume he still gets half of the money. Again, I assumed a KHANTEHNT goal of $2000. I wrote something about this in detail, here.

This tweet was a bit perplexing. Interesting that Digi implied that his past non-troon self was so unworthy of admiration as much as characters in anime who are literal murderers, and yet were written to also have admirable qualities so that the audience wouldn't hate them. The audience admiring characters like Lelouch and Light in spite of their crimes is the foundation that keeps them from being unlikable characters. It absolutely was the point of their shows.

Nevertheless, It's rather stupid to compare your past self to fictional characters, especially when Digibro in his prime was less of a character unlike Filthy Frank and more of a reflection of Conrad Aaron Collins' opinions on anime. You and your past self are not separate people, and to make that distinction is utter lunacy. Is this also supposed to imply that people shouldn't admire Digi as he is now since, by his logic, his current persona is just as much a character as past Digi? It just sounds like he's trying to run away from his past even more.

Travis Bickle is the classic example of that dynamic in Western media. Audiences who like those characters don't like them for their personal flaws, or for having chaotic personal lives, or whatever. They like them because those characters all rose above the pettiness of their personal lives to do something greater. Travis Bickle and Light Yagami fought crime, Lelouch became a historical figure, Killua was a loyal friend [I've never seen Naruto]. Of course a troon in the middle of a narcissistic meltdown wouldn't understand that.

Just lol at the idea that the Conrad who made educational and editorial videos online was a lowly, and the Conrad who pretends to be a little girl, who spends hours creeping on teenage girls' makeup TikTok tutorials while getting sexually and financially exploited by a suddenly-homeless band of junkies, this is the Conrad who has his act together.

It's simple projection, a baptism undoing all his sins. He can put all his past faults and actions and project them onto old Digi. But as Ben is quick to point out, just because you "transition" and I use that in the looses terms for Digi doesn't mean that you don't have to face responsibilities or get to avoid your debt to the IRS.

[I've never seen Naruto]
I agree with what you said about the other three. Here's the beef on Sasuke. He's a teen that survived literal genocide of his people, thinking it was done by his own brother. Imagine finding out your clan was never that peaceful and were planning a coup-de-grass on the larger power structure (the Leaf village) they have lived peacefully under for generations. And having your brother be the one to kill everyone in their sleep, sparing only his younger brother. In the end his brother was the one taking orders from the leaf village, the higher ups of the special forces he was working for planning their own coup of sorts and him just wanting to protect his younger brother, even if that meant alienating him and making him seek vengeance.

Sasuke was played first by his clan, second as a citizen, third by his brother and last by history. With each new piece of information he obtained he had to reevaluate his stance on his own previous worldview. Naruto tried to help him as a friend and rival many times, but didn't understand how much Sasuke was being played and what was a stake until it was mostly too late.

Yeah it was a lot like Cosmo, he just sort of flipped one day. Had even previously talked about his gender issues and that he had come to terms with, and even come to enjoy, being a man.

Seems to happen a lot with these types, one day they just flip and that's it. If it's anything like Cosmo the old Digi truly is gone.

I think the act of delving into that kind of self indulgence and degeneracy just isn't possible to come back from. Your soul becomes too tainted, so to speak.

I'm not the religious type, but you've really got to admit there was a lot of psychological accuracy to the old texts about sin and the consequences of stepping outside the natural order of things.
I think you can wash it off if you try in time , but what happens to people like digi and cosmo is that they push their dark impulses to the back of their mind and pretend like they're cured, but the darkness just come out and ambush them when they have a moment of weakness. Because they never actually cknqired it, it's just sitting around waiting.

Also, I haven't watched anime in a long ass time, but Lelouche was based and an absolute paragon of discipline and patience. I don't see digi exemplifying any virtues

You know why all of these people have failed in showbizz? Its cause none of them have an entertaning bone in their body. Those tweets seem like lazy "2deep4u" bait by a desperate loser, but ignoring that, it's funny that Digi fails to grasp the idea of admiration in spite of one's flaws, a central concept in most anime with conflicted protagonists.

Killua & Lelouch both had redemption arcs and were successful in achieving most of their goals. They were not only gifted but incredibly resolute & persistent, both willing to sacrifice dearly for something they saw as greater than themselves.

Light's commitment to his ideals, however misguided, was admirable. That was one point of the show, just below the surface (apparently too deep for Digi). Even L admired him. 2nd season was shit and ruined his characterization, but a mature person could look past that to see something admirable in Light.

Dunno about Sasuke, but it's anime so I'm sure it's the same kinda shit.

WTF is with Digi's inability to grasp simple concepts in anime these days? I guess his analytical ability went out the window along with his self-awareness.

I might be looking far too into this, but he might be laying the path for a detransition, if he ever needs one. Maybe he retweeted this in a moment of doubt.
I bet he just didn't understand what the tweets were actually about and have a different interpretation that is "as valid as any other" if he is asked about it.

digi seething because light would have eradicated troons just like criminals as the god of the new world

here's the beef on saucegay: he was malding because itachi measured his abilities

Digi pulling the ultimate big brained move to destroy the farms: Vague tweet about anime. Surely he knew that this would cause everyone on his kiwifarms thread to talk about anime for another 3 pages. He's a real tactical genius. Maybe he is just like Light, Sasuke, Killua, and whatever the fuck that guy's name is.......

I was one of those "dead" subscribers up until last week.

I stumbled across some PCP Lecture videos, thought they were okay. I realized one of the people in the group was Digibro, remembered he did some decent anime videos years back but can't remember him doing anything since the pandemic started. So I went to check in on him and see what he's been up to.

What in the fuck.

Killua & Lelouch both had redemption arcs
Arguable whether Killua's counts as "redemption" arc given that it entirely ignored all the murder but then that speaks to, ironically, how bad Digi seems to have missed the point of HunterxHunter himself. Fundamentally it's an amoral story, Togashi couldn't have said it any louder by literally writing an author's note across the page than he did in the bomber healing scene. Bombers kill a bunch of secondary characters you were induced to like, get rolled by the main characters, Gon goes to heal them from fatal injuries. When asked why he says it's just what he feels like and he has no moral justification nor any plans to think of one, and to take it up with Killua if murder's such a big deal. Guy arguing with him says "But I like Killua." End scene.

So I took the rest stop reviews that Digi has been posting and drew two lines the best I could without doing the work of locating them on a map. I have no idea where they're going, but the last update was from somewhere in New Mexico.

330/2 + 845 = 1010.

1040 * (7/30) = 235.67

235.67 / 7.25 = 32.5

Not even accounting for whatever cut Patreon pulls out of his income, Digibro would be better off picking up four shifts at McDonald's per week.

The Digi goes to Mexico to evade taxes and becomes a prostitute for the Juarez Cartel could become reality?

The end of the Chimera Ant arc is a better example. Gon turns into a brutal monster we feel bad for cheering on. Meruem is willing to change his views and not kill all of humanity, whereas Netero refuses to acknowledge the morality of the situation and is unwilling to change his own views on Meruem. The humans characters we hold up become tinged with dark immorality whereas we start to feel bad for the "evil" enemies.
