Watching that deleted livestream, I feel like Chantal was overselling how bad she had felt - as though she was overselling the comedown but pretending the high didn't exist. Reminds me of what the psychanalysts called reaction formation, aka the lady doth protest too much phenomenon, making me think she actually did like it.
Especially after watching Kate Winlet's edit, I think the most likely scenario is Chantal snorted maybe
one line of a mystery powder and, as you said, definitely enjoyed it. It made her feel like a big badass cool girl. That same night she's already exagerrated the story from one line and some tit slapping into four lines and several hours of sex.
So she went back for more and ended up having a little-- not the amount she claims, both through sheer lying and also her just not knowing the amounts of things (ie 2 grams of mdma, lol.) Her smelly ass gets dumped, because she's too annoying and clingy even for this tweaker and the small amount of drugs she's getting in return for offering up her folds. Her fabulist, sugar-damaged brain spins it into this Go Ask Alice cautionary tale, but her face says it all: whatever amount of drugs she did, she LOVED it. She was finally the cool girl she wanted to be in grade ten.
The biggest lie is that she dumped him.
She has goals?
He was needy? Lol okay Chantal.
@Fliddaroonie having seen her body hug shimmy movement now when she says "I heard it makes you feel..." I think she's conveying the general sense of euphoria you get from MDMA. I understood what her little shimmy meant, but I am a very pro-MDMA person so I might be reading too much into it. I also thought she had done it before, so it made sense to me. Ultimately, she couldn't say "I heard it makes you feel creamy," so she just finished the sentence.
The thing I'm most confused is her saying she wanted to try MDMA as if she'd never had it before. It was one of her few party girl days stories that I believed-- that when she was young she'd done coke and MDMA, just because those are both fairly easy to obtain even for big losers. (I absolutely do not believe she's ever "smoked" LSD lolol.) But now she's saying she wanted to try it because she heard it's good? So I suppose she was lying the whole time, and forgot her fictional biography, which is not surprising at all. It reinforces my belief that this past week she did 90% fewer drugs than she claims.
Can't get multi quote to work so tagging people to respond...
@sgtpepper "Agree for sure. Anyone who has done MDMA knows she was presenting the key symptoms of using. The way she looked/spoke/acted was nothing like that of someone who was just high on THC and binging on food."
I respectfully disagree. Unless I missed a specific livestream. She was very full of herself after her sessions, but she seemed very speedy and aggressive to me, not like she was rolling at all. Suuuuuper bitchy. Not blissed out on love for all fellow creatures. No cuddles for Pee. Same amount of attention to her cats as usual. Just pleased with herself for how awesome she was. (BUT again, maybe I missed a more obvious MDMA stream?)
It seemed way more in line to me for coke or meth (though I've only witnessed meth, not used it personally.) However, I can believe she thought it was MDMA and it was just some other crap, that certainly happens often enough. And I will concede that her days offline could have been nursing her wicked post-MDMA depression, which I imagine for her would be crippling. But it's just as likely she was concocting this break up story, eating, catching up on CPAP sleep, etc.
I guess it's also not out of the question that MDMA makes a narcissist even more bitchy and self-centered and less caring for others, haha.
