Do fighting game enthusiasts normally hover around a specific game? From what little I know of competitive fighting game scenes, competitive players play a variety of games in the genre, rather than slavishly fixating on a specific game just out of pure fanboidom.
(And yeah, Smash Bros is basically to fighting games what Mario Kart is to racing games anyway - it's basically just a "fighting game" for people who just want a casual party game, or who are too lazy to learn the combos in a "real" fighting game).

Smash Bros. enthusiasts pretty much only play Smash, period. Actual fighting games are too hard for them to learn. Ryu, Ken, and Terry's quarter circle moves are like astrophysics to them. Hell, it doesn't even stop at fighting games. They only care about games coming to Switch if only because it might be added to Smash one day.

Allegedly Zer0 literally can't get a job because every company he goes to Googles his name and finds articles and videos calling him a sexual predator. He also claims he has developed crippling anxiety to the point where he has trouble socializing, can't go outside, can't look at social media, can't play video games, and can't even be called Zer0 without having an attack.
If that's true, then it's not Jisu's life that's ruined.
