Anyone remember back in the Drunk Tank days when Jack would constantly shill and name drop only to be called out for it? Jack on Twitter now is what happens when that goes on unchecked. I guess bullying works.
You guys can tell me if I'm being a retard, but unironically, bullying is good to some extent. This excludes situations such as: someone being told they are worthless and should kill themselves and/or physical abuse. However, when you act socially retarded you should definitely receive blowback. Jack getting bullied for politics-talk and shill behavior actually kept his impulses in check. Hell, go ahead and think back to when you were in school. Being afraid of getting made fun of for things probably kept all of us from making an ass of ourselves more than a few times.

Speaking of bullying, I'm about to bully Meg into always wearing makeup, because holy shit the wall decided it wasn't going to wait for this one. I cannot believe how bad she looks these days. Not just her face, but her body is also way worse than even a few years ago. I don't know what happened, but she definitely doesn't have it anymore.

Not only does she look like that, but she thought, "I'm going to take a picture of myself and post it for the world to see." I really don't get social media.

She looks like a proper Karen now.
Poor Gavin

She must've realized she was crashing into the wall (or the wall was crashing into her because god damn I know she's not 20 but holy shit she looks way older than 34) and that's why she started doing nudes. To my knowledge she still isn't spreading her legs, but I'm honestly scared to see what's there these days.

Gavin is a Karen himself so I don't feel bad for him at all. I've never been a fan of him personally, but ever since the "no political hot takes" rule was removed he became insufferable. I always find it funny when Britbongs leave the UK to live in the US and then bitch that we're not more like the UK.

"After just three years of ownership, AT&T is reportedly looking to sell Rooster Teeth, with sources noting that the online content production company has been ‘struggling’ in recent years.

According to a recent Bloomberg report, a number of individuals with knowledge of the situation informed the news outlet that “AT&T Inc. is seeking buyers for Rooster Teeth Productions LLC, a piece of its WarnerMedia division, as part of an ongoing winnowing of noncore assets.”

“The pandemic has complicated efforts to sell the business, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the matter is private,” wrote Scott Moritz, Lucas Shaw, and Liana Baker for Bloomberg. “It wasn’t clear how much money AT&T is seeking for the business.”

As noted by the reporters, Rooster Teeth’s sell off may be part of AT&T’s larger desire “to focus on a key areas, including its new 5G wireless business, which requires billions of dollars of investment.”

“AT&T also is expanding its fiber-optic footprint and boosting movie and TV production to attract subscribers to HBO Max, the new streaming service run by WarnerMedia,” they added.

Though the alleged sources did not specify why AT&T wants to sell Rooster Teeth, they did assert that, “Even before the pandemic, Rooster Teeth was struggling.”

One source even revealed that “revenue slumped to about $50 million in 2019 from about $70 million a year earlier.”

The sad thing is they probably will use The Pandemic™ to justify their falling revenue, instead of mismanagement and antagonizing fans.

"Muh pandemic"
Bullshit, the pandemic should actually have made things better. For an entire year the rest of the industry was down for the count, while they're in Texas and could increase production as people working from home were desperate for entertainment. Just look at how vtuber streaming exploded as the pandemic hit.
What has actually happened is that almost all the talent has either been kicked out or left the company, and the people still left were too busy virtue signaling about staying at home during the pandemic that they ignored the golden opportunity presented to them.
Like what was the issue of them coming in to work anyhow? As long as they don't meet people outside of work there's no outside vector to bring in.

Best thing for RT's future is in its animation department. Those people would be a reliable asset for an entertainment company to use to produce animated products and the animators would be managed by a company run by professionals, so less of a GEN: LOCK crunch time type stress.

They also lost about 30% of their year over year profit a full year before the pandemic began. They can't really use that as an excuse.

They also can't point to any other projects with the same potential as RWBY - as the person who created RWBY fucking died. They can't offer him a bunch of money to make something new and he wasn't there long enough to have any kind of protégé' or apprentice to have passed anything on to. They don't have any contracts with "good" voice actors because the VAs are mostly people who just work there. A lot of "good" VAs will steer clear due to how bad they tried to fuck over Vic over for no reason - so it's not a deep talent pool there.

RoosterTeeth also has been spending a bunch of money unsuccessfully launching it's own app to try and compete with Youtube (lmao) and other streaming services. They've also been trying to expand into the streaming space by sponsoring streamers, but that's also gone nowhere. All they got was a bunch of sexual misconduct scandals.

They're losing money (which is bad) but what's more important is they don't have a good path forward to start making money again and that's going to be what kills the company. The only companies that would be interested in buying it would be a company that would be interested in RWBY as an IP (to remake or whatever) but I can't imagine it would be worth the investment to anyone who doesn't hate money.

Not only that, they're in Texas, one of the states that LED THE CHARGE to reopen.

I'd go as far as to say that only RWBY would be something people would want so they'd roll up to RT and just offer to buy the RWBY IP. And maybe Death Battle but I feel that if there's any kind of executive meddling from someone that isn't RT, that venture could go belly up as DB might go on their own.
and he wasn't there long enough to have any kind of protégé' or apprentice to have passed anything on to.
Monty had Shane Newville. And his wife Sheena. And we all know how that turned out.

Do you honestly think that'll stop them from using that as an excuse? Even if they don't, their retards fan brigade absolutely will.
The excuse only has value if the parent company (in this case, AT&T) is going to buy it. They won't. They don't have much value and they can't create more value - which is why they're in trouble.

The obvious path forward is to just produce more generic anime tbh. They should just swing for the cheap seats and make a shitty isekai. I guess that technically didn't work with Gen Lock but hey, if RWBY somehow accidentally stumbled into a fanbase they can make another crappy anime that could do the same. Or at the least, gets people to watch it.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm no oil painting and people in glasses houses and all that, but I never understood the whole 'meg is hot' thing. She's far from a troll in terms of looks but I really don't see anything above-average about her in both looks and personality. Unfortunately for her, modelling is always a young person's game and I wonder what else she has to fall back on without going down the Onlyfans route unless she's happy to be bankrolled by Gavin which is highly likely.

RWBY is already a frankenstein's creation of magical girls, shoenen arcs and the last airbender. If you burned the whole plot down and started again with another cast and new characters, you might be able to do something half decent. Unfortunately whatever San Fran studio that might pick it up will likely be staffed with the same breed that's at RT anyway so it's not as if it will be better off being bought out only to be dragged along by some other nobody in a Rick and Morty shirt and redditor-level humor.
