This is like the most obvious larp since that stupid /pol/ thread about the entire family trooning out and dumbasses here will still believe itJust kidding, this might be one of the most fucked things Ive ever read on reddit. Where are her parents?
I hope against all my rationality that this is true.
He could just not be a pussy and use a backpack or a briefcase if he really cared instead of whining about it.
Redditors are some of the biggest pack of Branch Covidians I have seen in my life. Fuckers think if you don't wear masks outside and take the CDC as gospel you'll instantly die and vaporize all the old people in a 100 mile radius with you.
I'm curious to see how they'll react now that the CDC says you don't need masks anymore if you're vaccinated.
Suddenly reminded of the infamous "my alt-right son hates his sister" story where the OP's "son" was stereotypically right-wing and assaulted his sister because he heard her having sex with her black boyfriend. There were plenty of people calling it out as a fake /pol/ larper, but there were also people believing the story fully. Goes to show how gullible Redditors can be.This is like the most obvious larp since that stupid /pol/ thread about the entire family trooning out and dumbasses here will still believe it
Amazon cloud services have been fucky all day. Hopefully it's not another attack.Reddit is currently down and if there is any justice in the universe it will remain that way forever.

I tend to believe the opposite of whatever's on the front page to be true or good. These two posts just appeared in the front page. And both piss me off from how mind bogglingly stupid they are.
First was this posted onto r/murderedbywords.

Private company = censorship good. If the OP was a BLM rioter, though, suddenly it would be a bad thing. How is this a murder anyway? All it boils down to is "these companies are "private" therefore this is fine"
The second is this posted in r/funny. The fact that someone looked at this and thought "hm, yes, this is definitely something I should post onto the internet" makes me MATI.

How could you possibly draw this and think these are in anyway compariable? Being a working, valuable member of society is in no way similar to being a useless, fat slob who does nothing except drain resources and consoom. Good lord, at least be a stereotypical wine aunt/beer uncle.

I will clarify, as someone who says similar things, that it's more "the US government doesn't have any human look at your data until you get flagged for saying nuke/Allah/whatever." It's almost always about the US or somewhat similar governments, either because the person is smart enough to know China is different or because they're dumb enough to forget America isn't representative of the world.I tend to believe the opposite of whatever's on the front page to be true or good.
There's also the "government doesn't care enough about you to track you" posts that you see every couple of days. It's astroturfing but do people not believe in China or other governments who are incredibly open about how much they care?
Next is “yeah we look at the data, but unless you’re a racist terrorist you have nothing to hide”I like that we've gone from "the government isn't spying on you, that's a conspiracy theory" to "well yeah they are spying on you but nobody actually looks at the data, don't be so paranoid" in like a decade and everybody just accepts it I guess.
No, it does, its why they hate landlords and shit or want to be them. Theres more to say about it but this argument is just as dumb and reductive as the SJWs painting a picture about "the other side" based on clickbaity fearmongering screen-grabbing headlines.I guess it'll never even dawn on most moolennials that the obscene sum they pay to rent their big-city fartboxes is actually no worse-- maybe even higher in some cases-- than an actual mortgage.
They don't realize this because houses are icky suburban things for white fascists like Mom and Dad so they just never even consider them in the first place, because reee.

And do they think other corporations are the only people who pay for that shit?Funnily enough, I imagine most of them wouldn't disagree with the idea that corporations invasively track your data.
Maybe that's what they mean, actually. "The government doesn't spy on you online, that's paranoid. They just let Apple, Facebook, and Google do it andAnd do they think other corporations are the only people who pay for that shit?
Redditors support and joyously take part in distributed totalitarianism, where informers like jannies and hall-monitors destroy normal people's lives when they challenge the government and no Federal body even needs to involve itself. The website itself is designed to operate in a similar way.Maybe that's what they mean, actually. "The government doesn't spy on you online, that's paranoid. They just let Apple, Facebook, and Google do it andbuysubpoena it from them. It's totally different, I swear!"
The worst part is the flair the user has.
