I have no idea where this delusion comes from that thousands upon thousands of otherwise rational people from all over the internet share that this woman has a "trad" bone in her body, or somehow secretly deep down wants to go "trad" someday.
She is fucking 30 and has absolutely no history of anything "tradlike". Actually the character of Lydia Deetz was 17, Winona Ryder was 15 at the time of filming. Kind of fucked up I guess but Beetlejuice is the bad guy in that film and all that really happens is an attempted marriage. It's nothing compared to the Hollywood producers that most assuredly raped her.

The two sides of her are pulling in different directions.
One, her parents are probably her role models for what traditionalism is.
Two, her youtube and internet status is the model for what rebellion is.
She's caught between being like her parents, and being the cool kid. The working theory is that if she ever gives up on one, she'll go towards the opposite.

To be fair, that would mean there's very few people in America who could actually qualify or could even aspire to be trad. The Amish, Orthodox Jews and other incestuous communities, that's it. America has very little in the way of tradition or culture, unless you want to pretend that dressing like you're from the sixties and leaving a steaming pie out on the window sill to cool is a deeply rooted American tradition.

As I said before though, people are generally more than cemented in their ways and personalities in their mid 20's, definitely in their late 20's. She is starting her 30's now and people are still pretending like anyday now she is going to turn over this new leaf and become ultra conservative wife material.
When I see people theorizing Shoe has "trad tendancies" or has "potential" its like seeing people say "Yep that Chris Chan fellow has real potential to become a successful entrepreneur someday, he would go far in a corporate environment if he gave it a shot."
