Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

I wish April would get some intensive therapy that holds her accountable. Even though her 'workouts' are inappropriate for her size and sometimes a bit crappy, she is still 100% more active than the other cows on this board who won't even consider working out, ever. I have to give her that. And I admit I don't hate her personality, ditsy as she may be.
It's frustrating that she's not willing to give up food. She's going to ruin her marriage keeping this up.

phrase "it is what it is" with regularity
Honestly if someones unironically using that phrase they be better off committing. They already given up and don't care about trying to be a better and happier person. They accept their slow and painful death living only for shallow happiness.
That's why the look like damn beached whales

How is she eating a bagel post gastric bypass. That shit will fuck you up if she ate the whole thing.
How will it fuck her up? Forget anything you see on TV about the new stomach being the size of an egg, that's really only the true volume for a month or two while the pouch is swollen from the stapleline. Stomach tissue is elastic and a WLS patient can usually consume 1-1.5 cups in a sitting. That bagel is about the volume a bypass patient can eat for a meal after about 6 months post op. It's also a slider food, meaning it passes straight through the stoma into the intestine without actually filling the pouch at all. If she drank anything with it...even quicker passing through the pouch. With a bypass (which is what she had according to the hashtags) there is no pyloric valve in play between the pouch and small intestine. The pyloric valve is what keeps food in the stomach where the stomach acid starts the main digestive process. Is a bagel a good choice nutritionally... not really, but it's by no means something she could never eat. Her vitamin/mineral needs will be being met by the lifetime prescription of double RDI multivitamins and whatever other supplements her regular blood panels show need supplementation.

I notice April, in her "I binged" video and the one before, is using the phrase "it is what it is" with regularity.
What is it with our deathfat gorls' reliance on that little drop of bullshit? Fat Muslim Amy is maybe the worst offender but Hamby and Chins have both been known to use it liberally, along with Jen.
I feel like once they start saying "it is what it is" to a situation so completely under your control as weight loss, their goose is cooked. That phrase is appropriate when a park you wanted to visit is closed for trail maintenance, or when you couldnt see Grandma for a long time due to covid, or your pet is ailing- shit you cannot personally change or control.

What it is, April, is your husband leaving you to find someone that can not only have kids, but contribute to a household in ways that are not token. She's gotta be running scared but that still isn't enough to produce results so its really just a matter of time.
“It is what it is” is supposed to mean “I cannot change this situation”...but is also the way people in these situations often say, “I am used to this awful situation and it is too hard to change.”

Fatties love absolving themselves of responsibility almost as much as they love cake. Why do you think 'thin privilege' is a thing?

It's kind of like the phrase "shouganai" in Japanese, but twisted; or like missing the entire third line of the serenity prayer.

April is starting to become a better cow. Nobody asked her to stand on the scale in her underwear, but you know, as a WEIGHT LOSS CHANNEL it might behoove her to show the scale once and awhile.
